This brush is of impressively high quality. The wooden handle is sturdy, smooth, and easy to grip, and the boar bristles are quite dense. It's lightweight and easy to use, and, most importantly, my cat absolutely loves it. For reference, she's always shied away from being brushed, and this is the first brush I've tried that she's tolerated. When I unboxed this and held it down for her to sniff, she seemed fascinated by the smell and wanted to rub her chin all over it. She stands still and purrs while I'm brushing, and you can tell it feels good to her. I don't think it removes as much hair as some other brushes I've tried, but it makes her coat look really shiny, and I'll take anything at this point. If she lets me brush her daily-- and she now wants frequently brushing-- I think that'll easily make up for it removing less hair. It's a little more difficult to clean than some hairbrushes due to the density of the bristles, but I'm fine with that. An included card does warn that boar bristle brushes will naturally shed bristles, but this is expected, and the density of bristles means it won't ever be an issue. I feel like this brush is very high quality, and it's an excellent value for the money-- and the cat agrees!

My little guy just loves this brush. It just arrived in the cutest , sturdiest salmon colored box with a little warm tip included. As soon as I went near my kitty , he sniffed it out and began rubbing against the bristles. There’s something incredibly interesting about this brush! It just seems to attract a cat like catnip. It’s so sturdy too. The handle is smooth and perfect to hold. I can recommend this brush for short haired cats like my own. Works beautifully and the size is perfect for those areas like neck and chin, upper forehead between the ears and body. Some bristles have come out but nothing to worry about as it is normal for bristle shedding on many boar brushes. Gotta go now and get back to brushing my buddy!!😻

my cat loves it. it’s a great finishing brush to take off the loose hair after a good deep brushing. it makes his hair sooo soft. if you just want to use one brush, i don’t think this is the best one because it is very soft and doesn’t get down to the skin, but it’s perfect for my needs.

my cat woulnt let me brush him at all, now he loves getting brushed because its soft. it removes soo much hair and he thinks hes getting big pets. he is medium length hair,not long but thick; minus 1 star because its too small, but still recommend

I use this to brush my cat and he loves it. He loves grooming time and gets all excited whenever I bring out his brushes because he knows he’s gonna get brushed. It makes his fur very shiny and soft. Not great for de-shedding, definitely get a different brush for that, but I use a de-shedding brush and this boar bristle one and combined they work to make his fur feel and look beautiful. He is a short hair so I’m not sure how well this detangles. Overall very good brush, especially for what I need it for!

It’s a boar brush, seems like it’s fine quality. Does not do a good job of brushing my short hair black house cat.

my 11 month old kitten LOVES this brush. he has a medium-length coat and it’s very thick. he’s never been particularly fond of his regular brushing, and actually doesn’t tolerate it well at all, but this brush changed that completely! it must be the musk (there is a very distinct smell from the bristles, but after it airs out it isn’t detectable with the human nose) that draws him to it, and it’s surprisingly soft. i read a lot about people losing bristles as it got worn in but haven’t experienced that at all! now he brushes HIMSELF on it! he loves to rub his cheeks on it and purrs, and will let me brush him for a half hour or more at a time. the bristles are so soft and natural that i don’t have to worry about him hurting himself either! definitely not for mats and tangles, but FANTASTIC for everyday grooming maintenance. his coat is so sleek and he looks forward to his brushing sesh daily! i’m impressed!

One of our cats hated to be brushed, even though she really needs it, until I finally bought this brush. Turns out she doesn't like hard bristles but loves this nice, soft brush. I was surprised to find that it removes and captures a lot of loose fur, leaves her coat soft and shiny, and she now enjoys being brushed. The brush seems to be of high quality, very happy with this. This is a shorthair cat who is loving it; we also have a long-hair cat and I think this is the perfect brush for shorthair, but not for long hair.

I like the brush. I can feel comfortable brushing my cat's cheeks without having a perfectly clear shot of doing it based on how she's laying. When I brush her I can feel confident that the bristles are not going to scratch her gums if I'm brushing near her mouth or scratch anywhere too close to her eyes like other brushes can. This won't cause any harm which is what I was looking for. It makes her hair really nice and soft. She really enjoys it. She enjoys this brush more when it comes to brushing her cheeks than any other brush that I have. And she enjoys it on her body as well. Quality of the brush. Posts are saying that people had bristles fall out. I never experienced that this brush is nice and solid. And as for the posts that say that it doesn't take hair out of their cat, it does for me anyways. This does a nice job of taking hair out. Yes, you have to brush your cat everyday, just like you were supposed to brush your own hair everyday. This brush is not going to be as aggressive in the hair removing as other brushes will be, but it still does remove a lot of hair that over time I did notice that when I went to pet her she had less hair coming out just from my hand running down her body. And I have noticed that she has a lot less dander since I've started using this brush. My cat has kidney disease and unfortunately she's just going to have dander now due to the food I think. I don't know what causes it but all of my cats that had kidney disease all had dander. This brush seems to helps with that. Don't notice as much anymore. I use a comb to clean out the brush. I am quite happy with this purchase. I was a little worried looking at the reviews when I bought it. But I'm glad that I did. Side note. I've been brushing her for a few days for the brush to look like this. I've already cleaned it out once since I've gotten it and it's looking due for a second cleanout. I do use another brush that I bought from Amazon that I really like as well Hartz black handle purple head. That's I guess diamond shaped is the best way to describe. It looks like a square that had two points kind of squished together a little bit. I like this one as well for getting the cheek area. She likes both these brushes

I like this product because it works very well for grooming face and ears, chin and neck. The size of the brush is small, but this is a positive when doing detail face work with speed. The boar bristle does add sheen, and has a good combination of stiffness and softness. I have 8 rescue cats indoors in the winter, and they all agree this is a treat, good grooming stimulation. My only complaint is price, but I guess the quality is worth it, and boar bristle is rare?

my cats literally love this. Does amazing to help remove fur and I’ve seen an improvement in less dandruff on my one cat who has it bad!

Appears to be well made. What they don't give you are the dimensions of the brush. It fits a child's hands but for your average adult it is tiny and rather uncomfortable. The cat loves it as it is gentle on his skin as the bristles don't penetrate the fur like the brushes with wire bristles that actually scratch and hurt him. The brush is about 7" long and the bristles area about 3".
