The TOPENS RK700T Automatic Sliding Gate Opener was easy to install and worked well for several months. however due to a defect in my sliding gate that led to friction, it placed the gate opener under sever pressure and damaged the plastic worm gear. I was about to replace the gate opener, when I decided on a whim to reach out to tech support to see whether they sold replacement parts. Alas they did! the Customer service personnel was super helpful and I was able to purchase a metal worm gear to replace the damaged one. Then the limit switch started acting up, possibly damaged from the first incident. I reached out to tech support who guided me to a link where I could purchase a replacement.The service was immaculate! Beyond my expectations to be frank and saved me buying another gate opener!

I had to order my own control board to do trouble shooting but after I figured it was the board Topens refunded the money for the board and shipping. Worked great for about two weeks then I opened the gate and when I went to close it nothing. Like the thing forgot the code for the wireless. Tried to reprogram the remotes but nothing. Tried 8 time to get a call through to their support but the phone just hangs up after one ring.

The clutch wouldn't disengage, so I took the gearbox apart, and found that there's a big plastic gear inside the gear box which was broken in half. I was pretty surprised. No idea how it broke, my application is 500 pounds and this is rated for a 1600 pound gate. Topens is sending me a replacement metal gear. Their customer response was excellent, one day. Just search the web for Topens and their customer service email address is right there.Follow up review: The new metal worm gear took one week to arrive.

The media could not be loaded.  Let me start by saying I didn't know what exactly I was looking for. I didn't even know how to start looking. All I knew was the Craftsmen products that I saw in some homes. I wasn't sure how much my gate weighed so I started looking for an opener that could handle something a little heavier. I came across the Topens RK700T and liked that it was small, that it had rails, that it could handle something heavy, and that you could add additional accessories.We received it and we weren't able to install it for a couple of weeks. Not only that, we already had a slab poured so we couldn't use bolts in the concrete. We ended up welding a base for it with holes to match the base of the Topens. It worked flawlessly for.....3 days. Then it stopped. We tried troubleshooting it, which only involved a couple of steps, and still nothing. We contacted tech support through the website and they promptly responded by email with additional instructions. We still couldn't get it to work. They promptly sent out a replacement circuit board, we changed it out, we reset the remotes, and voila!!!Normally I hate having to contact tech support but their quick response let me know they stand behind their products. The Topens operates quietly, the rails were simple to install as well as the motor, and it's been working great for months now. If you're in the market for a well priced, reliable, and quiet product then give the Topens a try. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great product. I installed it myself, and I had a small issue. I contacted customer support. They were excellent at getting back to me. They walk me through the issue and it was resolved very quickly. I highly recommend their product and they have the best technical support I’ve ever seen.

Instalado hace un par de meses estoy muy satisfecho ya que es la primera vez que uso un motor de riel en vez de cadena, es muy silencioso y si se le agrega la camara resulta muy util si el porton esta en espacio abierto ya que desde la app linkcraft se puede vigilar y abrir el porton, han caido unas tormentas y el motor esta impecable por dentro y por fuera, y el soporte tecnico es de lo mejor que hay ya que dentro de un año de garantia ofrecen cambiar cualquier pieza defectuosa de fabrica sin costo alguno.Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo a mis familiares para sus proyectos futuros.Actualizacion 29 de julio 2022: la funcion de auto cerrado no es una buena opcion ya que a veces los sensores se pasan del limite y el porton queda tratando de cerrarse una y otra vez hasta que termina dañando el engranaje plastico interno y este no esta a la venta en amazon, solo contactando el vendedor, ya me pasò una vez pero descativando esa funcion todo corre bien.
