This is a great way to test your garden beds. My garden stopped producing and decided to take these tests for NPK and pH. Provided clear results. Clear step by step instructions and easy to do. It Does take some time preparing the soil but once you figure that out quick and easy process. There are 5 of each test which is also useful. I recommend this purchase it will save your plants!

Love making sure the soil is what my plants need, as many things require more acidity than others and this helps troubleshoot problems and fix them to get a better harvest. I love the ability to test my multiple raised beds, great value.

Work as you would expect them to and thy are very simple to use. No negatives at all. Don’t know if they are accurate or not, but they work as described. Anxious to see if garden improves this season after using them. Definitely worth a shot.

Decent tests and seem to be roughly accurate. You must let the color develop for at least 5-10 minutes before reading. Package is a bit misleading stating 20 tests, as I thought I would be able to do ALL the tests 20 times, but it's really only five times. Maybe that's my fault, but it could be clearer. It is difficult getting the powder into the teeny tiny testing container without spilling any thought. Some sort of scoop funnel would be helpful.

I like that this kit did provide the needed information I needed about the soil for my sweet potato patch. The test procedure was simple enough and the results easy to determine. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I haven't found out how to purchase refills for the essential capsules needed for each test. Furthermore, I find the product description a little misleading (perhaps unintentionally) because it states it's enough for 20 tests. They DON'T mean you can test for Nitrogen, or the PH, 20 times. No, what they provide is 5 capsules for each type of test. So you can only test for one element 5 times. That wouldn't bother me if Amazon listed refills next to the same product. I couldn't find refills at all on Amazon, or on the manufacturers website. Does that mean you have to buy the entire kit after only 5 tests forany one element? That would be a huge wasteof plastic for the environment. If you have more than one garden bed, 5 tests wouldn't last long, especially if you want to retest after soil corrections. I will update this review if I can find refills. I have emailed the company directly. Another reason I substacted a star is because the tiny gel capsules are hard to open and pour/aim the contents into a tiny 1/2" opening. The test would be invalid if you missed and some of the contents spilled outside the reservoir. A shame when you only would ha4 more capsules to use!

Instructions are confusing. We could not get a clear reading our soil samples. The test produced a milky, cloudy result with just enough color to know there was a reaction to the agent, but not one that could be matched to the color strip. The test is awkward to use because the test container is so small. Don't waste your money. I'm taking our samples to the county ag exchange.

Very easy way to test your soil to see what nutrients might be missing. I used it on my garden to try and figure out why my plants weren’t doing well. Pretty sure this soil test kit found the low levels of nutrients. I will add the right fertilizer and see how the plants grow and produce.

I'll try it tomorrow but I know it will work.

I was very keen on using this test to test my soil here in Australia. Unfortunately only the K one triggered a result. Tried it twice (once with really cloudy and once with less cloudy water.) I find it hard to believe that my luscious well maintained and well fertilised lawn is completely devoid of N+P.
