im confused, this is better than 1 ms right???

0.5ms would be better, but that's a fraction of a ms, this monitor is probably only second to the Ben Q Zowie(240hz, 1ms), but if you are wanting to take advantage of 280 hz panel, this is the monitor.

What’s the difference between this and the VG279Q model?

Screen size only. However, reviews indicate this one has a much better picture due to Pixel density.

I have gone through my setting on my ps5 & it says the hdr is not available. is there a way to make this feature accessible?

Hey, another issue is the HDMI 2.1 cable that comes with the ps5. Unless the monitor has a hdmi 2.1 port you can’t access the high def

why does it only go up to 120hz instead of 165hz?

According to the supported operating modes chart in the manual, 120hz is max if using HDMI. Use DisplayPort to get 165hz with a capable graphics card.
