Exactly what I needed
Great, tough, handlebar stem! This is exactly what I needed for my beach cruiser. I was just lacking a couple inches handlebar grip to help me sit up in perfect, comfortable position for myself. Installation was really quite simple, removing previous stem from neck, then removing one side of brake and 7spd shifter, the handlebars (while someone held all these), then slipping handlebar into Sunlite stem, then brake and shifter back on. There will be minor adjustments, loosening again and tightening, to fine tune the right fit for you, but overall this is a great adjustable stem to customize your riding position.Highly recommend this Sunlite stem.

Nice upgrade for comfort
I have had this for quite a while and has been great. Recently it was a little loose and if I hit the brakes hard, it would pivot and my handlebars would go forward. I tried to tighten them using the obvious hex/allen nuts on the side, but it didn't do anything. I was about to order a different brand but I noticed a reviewer saying to tighten it at the bottom. I looked and sure enough, the allen screw underneath was loose. I am submitting a picture showing this. This stem works well on my 2005 Raleigh C30 bike.

Good stem
This stem is a nice alternative to extra long stems, which can be expensive and difficult to find. It has a decent length, and additional fine tuning and tweaking is possible with the angle adjustment. The stem is well made, the material is solid, and so far I had no problems with the stem coming loose. The angle setting mechanism is sturdier than it appears at first look. Once it's been adjusted and tightened, it stays like that. Two downsides (and therefore 4 stars): This thing is HEAVY. That doesn't bother me at all, but if you want to shave grams off your bike this stem is not for you. The other downside (pointed out by others as well) is that the upper part, once adjusted to an angle, hides the main bolt. Removing the stem or changing its height is not possible without undoing the angle setting first. But all in all I am satisfied with this product!

Installed easily and works well
I needed to raise the handle bars on my old Bianchi because I was getting headaches on long rides from being pitched too far forward, but the stock stem tube was extended as far as it could go. This unit installed easily and it's variable angle "knee" joint surprisingly locked strong as a vice, but extended the handlebar position nicely. Luckily there was enough play in the brake and gear cables that I did not need to replace them. Worked very well for what I needed and I was able to keep using my old bike.

Feels like a good part
Let me start by stating that I really don't know what Im talking about lol. My buddy is a bike mechanic and built me a bike out of spare parts he had, and being bent over to reach the handlebars at the height that the existing stem had them at was giving my already problematic back trouble. He found a couple replacement stem options and we went with this because it has such a wide range of adjustment. It feels very sturdy and I dont foresee any issues. Would recommend to anyone in need of a tall adjustable stem!

Wobbles/loose
Nice fit. Easily adjusts (with screw on bottom/underside). Nice removable clamp for handlebars (don't have to slide it out one side and can leave grips/levers on). However, mt handlebars now wobble. My one piece stem before was solid! This is the first stem I've ever experienced that wobbles/is loose. 🤪Picture is at max height and 10°.I'm going to try it, but I don't have confidence in this stem. I'll either get a new stem that matches where I end up liking this one, or maybe it's finally time to upgrade to a new frame. 🤔

Gray Stem. Look UNDER FOR ADJUSTMENT BOLT.
Good quality stem. You have to look underneath to loosen the bolt and adjust. Some people think that you’ll only have to adjust the two side bolts. But only one of them turns. Look underneath and you’ll see another boat. Very happy with this adjustable stand. I put it on my cruiser, I pointed all the way up. It seems to work fine Good quality stem.
