I am shocked. I packed my cooler and put the ice cream inside surrounded by a few dry ice packs. After 12 hours my ice cream was still cold and firm. Love this gadget already.

My pint-sized Canteen was a beautiful shade of aqua. It seems sturdy and well made. It keeps my ice cream cold from the shop to my freezer. I love that I can bring ice cream to the beach now! Recently, I've been making my own ice cream. The Ice Cream Canteen is excellent for ice cream storage. It is made pof food-grade materials, so works well with my own ice cream. Ice cream remains scoopable. Other, plastic tubs I've used make the ice cream turn rock hard. I liked this so much, I bought a second one! As for keeping ice cream frozen outside of the freezer, I traveled for several hours with an Ice Cream Canteen filled with frozen ice cream when we had temperatures of about 97 degrees Fahrenheit. The ice cream remained frozen the entire time. I would highly recommend!

It may fit a lot of pints, the one I have didnt fit and I don’t think you can leave the top of the carton on when you put it inside so I’m not happy with it

Great product. Saw on Shark Tank. Don’t understand the one star reviews; canister opens and closes easily. Fits Ben and Jerry and Haagen Dazs pints of ice cream. Keeps ice cream frozen for 3 hours (then I had to eat it)

Ice cream did not stay cold six hours, but it was cold as long as I needed it to be. I wanted it to be cold for at least an hour and a half to two hours and it was cold not quite as cold as it should've been, but it was still cold enough so for my purposes, it was fine. I would've given you a five if it was really solid frozen in two hours it's a very handy thing to have and for my purposes it was perfect. I had put the container in the freezer 24 hours before I used it.

I LOVE THIS!! The Ice Cream Canteen is AMAZING for us ice cream lovers who want to take our ice cream anywhere and keep it frozen for hours! I don’t have access to a freezer at work, so this is a Godsend for me! It’s Beautifully made and solid in its build. It may be a little pricey for some, but you get what you pay for in quality, design and functionality! UPDATE: I use this EVERYDAY! It’s freaking AWESOME! Not at all pricey for those who love their ice cream anytime, anywhere! To the seller: Please make a solid cup w/ lid so we don’t need to buy expensive ice cream just to get the right sized container. Please?

This is a well made product. I bought this to use with frozen drinks (Daily’s). One drink fits perfectly. We live on a lake and like to swim, fish etc, but we like to have drinks too. I took an extra one in the canteen and set it on the dock and swam. It was extremely hot and humid. 45” later, I went to get my next drink out of the canteen and it was still as frozen as when I put it in there! I haven’t tested for how long it will hold but I’m sure it’s for way long enough. I may use it for ice cream someday, but for now, it’s my drink canteen!

My big question was sizing. Turns out this DOES fit the standard ice cream cone shaped pot. (I think this is a US pint). Anyway, very good quality metal vacuum flask. I bought it to get the ice cream home from town supermarket on bus. Works really well for this. Expensive, I think comes from US and duty is payable so delays on delivery and cost. Well made. Recommend but balance cost for yourself.

For a product which is so expensive, there seems to be a lack of quality control. You will notice that the round metal logo on the top is not centred or sitting flush (same with the other containers I received). The other problem may not be a manufacturer's problem and might be the seller's packaging - this particular item arrived with a damaged / dented lid. I am sure that this damage will not affect the use of the product, but at this kind of price, you would expect a very well made product.

Insulation is worse than I expected at this price. The weakest insulation is in the lid, causing the ice cream to melt from the top down, which is inconvenient because it means half the ice cream is perfect to eat whilst the other half is not. In my experience you cannot wait more than 4 hours before eating the ice cream. In contrast, I have other (less expensive) thermos food flasks that will keep food frozen for about 9 hours.
