No means to adjust depth
Nice looking elbows but if the pipe nipple is too long you're going to have an unsightly gap between it and your finished wall. If the nipple is too short you will have a leak and/or crack a tile trying to make a watertight seal. I can think of a half dozen ways this could've been avoided with o-rings and set screws, and I'm no engineer.

Quality, heavy item. Plan on a trip to get a nipple.
Well chromed metal object. You need to supply a proper length nipple between your shower supply elbow and this unit.Easy to install if you're lucky enough to have the distance from your shower supply elbow to this elbow correspond to a standard length nipple. If not, you'll have to improvise, perhaps with a coupler between a couple of short nipples. No, you can't shorten a too-long nipple by cutting off some of the threads. Plumbing threads, by and large, are tapered.

Delta 50560 Elbow does the job well
I ordered the Delta 50560 to replace the original elbow and shower-head holder unit installed during our bath remodel. This elbow allow us to relocate a new shower head holder to a more functional place on the wall. Installation was relatively simple for a self-doer homeowner with the right tools. The only difficult aspect of the installation was the initial tightening attempt resulted in the plastic wall seal turning off its base. A friend told me that he had lightly glued the seal to the base before installation. My friend also let me borrow his “Monkey” wrench which protected the chrome finish very well. All went well on my second attempt to tighten the elbow onto the nipple (pipe). I’m happier with look of the elbow on the shower wall.

Looks good but gasket not included
The elbow looks and feels solid. The instructions say to use the included gasket for installation but there isn’t one included in the box.

A good, strong, all-metal handshower elbow with a good finish
I designed our shower with a mix-and-match approach to the fixturing. Moen had (IMHO) the more long-term supported valve, which dictated the Trim Kit to be Moen as well. Delta, however, had the closest match for what we wanted in a handshower with its Vero Wall-Mount, and reviewers found that Delta's Wall Elbow was all-metal and strong. Further, Delta had the better long reach shepherd's hook shower arm AND a wider skirt Shower Arm Flange, but Moen had the rainshower head we decided would work best for us as well as being all-metal durable. So that is the origin of the Delta Faucet Wall Elbow for Handshower. Install went well, and the elbow is indeed all-metal and strong, with a good finish (we went with brushed-nickel and stainless, which matched up perfectly).A good price, fast shipping, and a product that did what was said of it. Love it when things work out!

Buy several nipple lengths to get it to fit right.
I am a huge delta fan. The quality is great but I wish there was more adjustability when installing this elbow. They only way to adjust it in and out is the length of NPT nipple in the wall. You have to get just the right size to get the pipe threads tight enough and for the fitting to be flush with the wall all while also pointing in the correct direction.

Great product
Items is great for a wall-mounted shower hose snd it matches the other stainless steel/ brushed nickel items in our bathroom. It was easy to install (according to contractor) and looks sharp. I only deducted a star because the one I received came scratched. I would have sent for a replacement but it would have delayed our project’s completion.

clean lines
I had a hand held shower installed and didn't want a shower head. So I had this put in at the height that a shower head would be so who ever lives here after me can have a regular shower. I like the sleek, smooth lines of this item. The stainless steel matches the other metals in my bathroom.
