Exactly What My Kids Needed for Swimming
I got these Aegend swim goggles for my kids, and they’ve been perfect. They fit comfortably, don’t leak at all, and the lenses stay clear even after long swim sessions. The kids said they could see underwater really well, and the straps were easy for them to adjust on their own. They’ve used them for camp and at the pool, and the goggles have held up great — no fogging, no slipping, and no complaints. The protection from the sun is a nice bonus for outdoor swimming. Overall, these are reliable, comfortable goggles that my kids actually like wearing. Great quality for the price and definitely a solid pick for camp or everyday swimming.

So far, so great - 3 years of swimming, no leaks, no deterioration in cusion material
After a 4-year hiatus, due to Covid and a knew operation, I've gotten fully back into the swim of things. I was extremely surprised and even more pleased to find that the goggles worked just the same as when I left off swimming. Often, the cushioning material around the eyes dries out and deteriorates from a combination of pool chemicals and age. Not so with the Aegend goggles - it was like they were brand new. The goggles are comfortable (mind you, in order to get a water-proof fit, any goggles are going to be right). They fit my face extremely well. They don't leak and are high-quality. I've tried more expensive goggles from Aqua Sphere (Vista model - returned when they fell apart) and Tyr (good goggles, but a bit small), and the Aegend goggles are superior in many ways. I would have expected to pay twice as much for the quality of these goggles. Mind you, head shape and size can change the fit of goggles, but it seems to me the desing the Aegend goggles lends itself to a broad-range of fact contours. I highly recommend these goggles. I will continue to use them and if problems arise, I will edit my post to update it. But so far, there's no need to spend a ton of money on expensive goggles when these are available. Update: after 8 months, I haven't changed any of my thoughts on these googles. They are perfect for me. This fall, when I move to an indoor poor, I will get a pair with clear lenses, to account for the light in the pool, if they are too dark. I haven't read any of the negative comments here. One thing: swimming goggles just aren't going to be 100% comfortable, but you can get close. If they're noticeably uncomfortable, you've either got the wrong goggles or don't have your adjusted properly - or they're old and need replacing. Goggles fit around the most sensitive areas of the face, and if they don't have some pressure on them, they leak. But they shouldn't need a lot of pressure. What's more important is finding the right goggles for your face. I've tried a number of different types and brands; some fit, others sort-of fit, and still others don't fit at all. I don't think that comments about goggle-fit are any good in selecting a pair, because of the differences in people's heads and faces - you just have to try them on. There is a test you can use before you get in the water (it's quick, and if it determines the goggles don't fit, you can return them opened but unused): Open any packaging carefully, so you don't break or tear it, and save it. Before removing any protective cover on the lens and before using them in the water, place them on your face, and press lightly WITHOUT placing the strap around your head (let it flop on top of your head), but holding them in place with your hands. If they don't feel comfortable at this first step, try moving them around a bit (not much room to work with there, though), or adjusting the nose-piece, if that can be done, and again lightly press them on. If they're still uncomfortable, they're not for you. If they are comfortable, pressing them on again lightly. Experiment with the amount of pressure you use - when I press on my goggles for this fit-test, I listen for a small amount of air escaping from inside the goggles. Next, even more lightly, pull the goggles away from your face - you should feel slight suction on your skin. No suction means they will leak. Try this several times, with varying degrees of pressure on your face. If you get suction without discomfort, move to the next step. If suction only comes with discomfort, try some other goggles. If both eye-pieces slightly resist being pulled away from your face (you've got suction!), press them lightly again (again, experiment with degrees of pressure without discomfort) and let go of them (remember, no strap at the back of the head). If they immediately fall off your face, there's inadequate suction, and they will leak, either one eye-piece or both. If they stay for a few moments, then you probably have a good, leak-proof fit. (I'm not sure if using them will cause more flexibility and a better fit, but am not willing to chance it.) Finally, set the strap so that it is too loose for you, then gradually adjust it so that it pulls on the goggles gently. You simply want to maintain good suction as you swim, and you don't need to have the goggles jammed onto your face by the strap in order to do that. With good starting suction, you really only need enough tension on the strap to keep the goggles firmly in place - something that can be achieved by adjusting the location of the strap on your head, without even adjusting it's length. It's important to have the strap in a stable position, usually on the crown of your head. Finding the optimum place on your head with the minimum of tension on the strap will make for more comfortable wear - and probably longer life for the strap, which is often the first thing to go if the goggles start to deteriorate from use. The Aegend goggles fit me with all these tests, so I highly recommend them. Even if they only last a year, that will still save me money over the more expensive goggles which don't do as good a job.

Great for Daytime, But Too Strong for Low Light
The Aegend Swim Goggles are quite impressive! They fit well and provide great protection from the sun, making them perfect for daytime swimming. The design is stylish and provides solid coverage, which is a plus. However, when it starts getting a little dark, these goggles become too strong, making it hard to see. You’ll definitely need to switch to other goggles once the light fades. Overall, they work great during the day but may not be the best choice for low-light conditions.

Excellent Goggles — Comfortable, Secure, and No Leaks
These goggles are excellent quality and were very easy to adjust. They have good suction and fit nice and tight without being uncomfortable and stayed secure the entire time I was swimming. Not much for style, but these do look pretty cool. I wore them for about an hour with no issues at all—they remained comfortable and didn’t leak, which is a huge plus. The seal held up well without leaving painful pressure marks. The included case is also a great bonus and makes storage and travel easy. Overall, a very solid pair of goggles that perform exactly as expected. Definitely recommend.

Great goggles
I have used these only for one summer season (about three months in my area). I had no leakage issues. Easy to see underwater and helped with the suns glare, which leaves me blind if I don't have sunglasses or somekind of eye sun protection due to an eye condition. Despite being dropped and dragged around by young children, there are no scratches so far. I like the color and the durability.

Swim goggles
I needed a new pair of swim goggles and found these. They are comfortable and fit well. I can see well through them. I used them at an indoor pool so I don't know how well they work for sun protection. They have a good seal and the color is cool!

Didn't work very well in ocean conditions; bad optical quality and durability
*Update: I am adding one star to this review because of the customer service. Within a day of posting my review, the seller contacted me to ask if they could send me a set of different replacement goggles and also explained some of the issues. I appreciate that level of contact, but I declined the replacements as an unnecessary gesture. I figured that would be the end of it, but they wrote back to again see if there was anything they could. For any of you thinking about buying these goggles, you can read my original review below. I'm one of a very small number of people that did not have a satisfactory experience. But I think it's probably worth you giving this company a chance because even if you have problems with the goggles, you can be assured that they will go out of their way to try to rectify the problem. I'll start out with the positives: these were comfortable and had no leaks. Now the negatives: 1) Optical quality underwater was shockingly bad. This seems to a be a pretty consistent complaint in the reviews, and I definitely had this problem. When I submerged the optical quality dropped dramatically. It wasn't as bad as some people claimed, but it was bad enough that it made having goggles on somewhat pointless. This was ocean water with sediment in it, but eve accounting for that the optical quality was bad. I might try to take them to the pool at some point and see if maybe these goggles just can't handle and diffusion from sediment, but I'm leaning towards just buying different goggles. 2) No anti-fog. The anti-fog claim, I think, it just false. These lenses fogged up very quickly. That's no big deal because I just put some dish soap in them and then buffed it out, but I really think the claim that these are "anti-fog" is dubious at best. 3) Mirror coating seems very weak. When I left the beach after my first use of these, I tossed them in our beach bag. When I got back, the mirror coating on one lens a spot worn away on it. Now, it's possible it it was rubbing up against something, but the bag was mostly just towels, and nothing else seemed to have been rubbed raw. I think these literally rubbed off the small amount of sand that was left in the bottom of the bag. I guess I should have put them back in the case, but it's kind of clumsy and huge for actual daily use.
