Depending on the wax brand the heat setting seams to be on par with the type or brand of waxes used in other pots. Easy to clean and heats up like the standard on for a few minutes then off for a few minutes to regulate a steady temperature

Wish the light stayed on while it is turned on. We have to double check to see if it is turned off. The light shuts off when it hits the desired temp.

I love this wax warmer! I have PCOS and I grow facial hair. I used to shave and I started getting a 5 o’clock shadow which is gross cause I’m a girl. I wax every two weeks with this and the wax I purchased from Amazon!

I find this to be perfect for making hot hide glue. I use it as a double boiler, and the results that I get are exactly what I need.
