Marion Domino Double 6 Blue & White Two Tone Jumbo Tournament Professional Size with Spinners in Elegant Black Velvet Case.

I'm disabled and decided to play solitaire dominoes for therapy. I've ordered a few other sets, and they are all working well. This set gave me a surprise. One of my disabilities involves vision, and working on that also helps with some brain damage. I figured out a few years ago that colors are effective and important for me to use. These red dominoes are teaching me something else. Because they are a bright color and have white dots and my vision is all over the place, I have to work at counting the dots. Every color, size, and type of domino gives me a different vision experience--and that is excellent. The first time I used this red set, it didn't come out right at the last move, so I knew the set was either mixed up or I had misread one or more pieces. I played again, and found myself recognizing them faster and the game ended the right way. Good for my eyes and for my brain--and the red makes me smile, too. I like the velvet case, and the dominoes are lovely. I can't comment on using them professionally, but they are certainly very nice.

I have always like Dominoes but I mostly own sets that are thin and not one color of pips. The ones that come in tin boxes. I wanted to get a tournament size thick dominoes with spinners. The Yellow set is what caught my eye. I have a soft spot for Bakelite games. Even though the yellow isn't exactly like the vintage Butterscotch color. It's close enough for me and I didn't have to spend $100+ for a true Bakelite set. I was pleased with my set. It is what I was expecting to see. I like the velvet box. However with velvet it is a magnet for collecting pet hairs and other loose debris. Not a fan of that but it is nice to handle with the soft feel of the velvet. I use a Junk Mat made for Riichi Mahjong and can easily play a complete game without cramming. I use this mat to keep the table and dominoes from being scratched. With the crylan blue color of the Junk Mat makes the yellow color of the dominoes pop. Easy to read what you are laying down and thick enough to not topple over if you choose to sit dominoes on their side for easy viewing. Highly recommend this brand of dominoes which ever color catches your eyes.

When you read the reviews on the dozens of bone sets offered on Amazon, you want to either laugh or cry. Too big, too small (just right?), bad markings, cracks, missing marks, missing tiles, won't handle abuse, paint sticks, shoddy workmanship... the list goes on! I've ordered almost every one of these marginal versions following the trial and error process until stumbling on this set, and guess what-- I've saved you those trials, because THIS SET is THE ONE! Great craftsmanship, huge markings, truly big, hefty tournament size (others state tournament but aren't even close). Quality for the price is almost unbelievable, the polycarbonate is rich, thick, hefty, and the colors are flawless. Spinners just mean you get the little rivet for shuffling/spinning face down and for spinner game versions. I'm sure you already know this, but there are dozens of variations of this ancient game, and all of them work great with this set. Velvet carrier comes with 28 bones (generally starting hand of 7 each player plus 14 in the draw pile face down). I've seen bone sets on ebay for as much as $1,500! These "real bone" pieces are often collectors items, and I've actually "felt" some of the expensive ones at antique shops. Not to disparage collectors, but, honestly, this set feels just as hefty and well made, and my grandkids are giving them the abuse I hoped they would-- without damage. Highly recommended, no con issues I can find!

It can be difficult buying something on-line. You can't see or feel the quality of the product. I wanted a nice set of dominoes; not a set of cheap plastic junk. I took a chance with this set & was NOT disappointed. They have a good feel & weight to them. Very nicely made. I did have one tile that was slightly undersized on one end, but not to the point that was so obvious as a dog-eared playing card. However, the weak link here is the box. It appears to be made of some type of metal. The corners of the box were already poking through the cloth covering. By the third day that I had the set one side of the lid had broken miter joints. I treat my things kindly. I don't have kids that tear-up every thing they touch. So I have to believe that the box was cheaply made. I still give the dominoes themselves the 5 stars. The box; not so much.

Amazing, well made compare to a regular jumbo size domino this is really big. It's great for handling and easy pick up due to the thickness. I agreed that you can memories it easy due to the marbling. JUST USE A BAG and get them there inside the bag...problem solve. The black dot is hard to see, I will definately paint it white. Its a AMAZING conversation starter. I will highly recommend it but with minor alteration like I will add a bag for the domino so no one can see it and white paint for the dot. The box is well made, no damage and it spin so well. I'm happy with this purchased and will get more for a gift.

If I find any one of these attributes I consider myself fortunate. Well, I'm pleased to tell you that I have discovered one that provides all three! The Game Factory rocks! I placed my order and the product arrived quickly for standard shipping service. After a few days we noted a problem with the dominoes so I contacted the seller. The response was quick, positive, and professional. Arrangements were made and a replacement set arrived quickly. At this point, I'm a happy camper. But it gets better. The second set arrived and had a similar problem. I contacted The Game Factory and explained what happened. The Game Factory worked with me to find an acceptable solution. Resolution was quick and professional. But it gets better. After everything was resolved, I received a very nice phone call from The Game Factory. I can't say enough good things about this retailer. I can assure you that The Game Factory will be my first choice when I shop for games and toys.

Great set. I got the Dark Blue Marbleized and they look really cool. The 1/1 came damaged, I reached out and they replaced it right away.

I originally bought these dominoes as a gift for my husband Because he have been wanting a new set. We have a few other sets but they were old & chipped. We play every afternoon and we both comment to each other most every day how much we enjoy playing with these are the spinner Domino’s. I’ve never even heard of spinner dominoes before but I thought I would give them a try and I’m so glad we did. Shuffling is the easiest and we thoroughly enjoy playing with them. They are very durable and come in a elegant box Which matches their quality.

The dominoes are shiny black and I'd have preferred a matte finish. They sound and feel nice, but I've seen cheaper sets that match them for quality. The set took 17 days to arrive - the longest I've ever waited for an Amazon order! - despite the seller being less than an hour away.
