Different directions on box & product. Box says apply to dry skin, product says damp skin. Did I get an old product?

With regards to the directions, we did have 2 options as we know that people like to use their cleansers differently which is why at first, a batch of tubes included the 'apply to dry skin' option. We have since determined that testers prefer the application to damp skin which is more common and suitable for all skin types (also easy to use in the shower). We are in the process of updating our tubes directions to match.
