Traveler Guitar Escape Mark III
A marvellous gem. Sitting nicely beside my recliner just to pick up. Very light and comfortable to play. Connected to my phone with a bluetooth adapter for backing tracks and learning. Yes, been mentioned, the sound in the headphones could been a tad louder, but as is it is gentle to the ears, and headphone amps have been invented if needed. With somewhat decent headphones the sound is good enough for rehearsing, but of course it is better thru an amp. Maybe two small things I'd liked. 1, an ambience setting for the headphones. 2. A tad shorter scale length. I measured it towards my Gibson J-15 and the J-15 is nearly 2 frets shorter. But that is probably nit picking. It doesn't stop me from giving it 5 star rating. Love this thing.

Sounds great!
I use a 3.5mm cable from the headphone jack to my JBL Flip 3 and it sounds amazing! Product arrived quickly, ready to go. Intonation is fine...one improvement others have mentioned...the edge of the body is sharp and is definitely uncomfortable. I've taped a soft pad to make it playable. The cable tie used to attach the handle is poorly placed...you'll notice it when you play an E chord or a C. All is all happy - make some modifications and it's a winner.

You won't be disappointed the quality of the guitar!
Amazing quality and performance! I played around with one of these Escape Mark III guitars a while back but didn't have the need for a travel guitar at that time. Now that I have retired, I like to travel a bit more. This guitar fits perfectly into that lifestyle. Well-built with great sound whether you are using the headphone jack for silent playing or through an amp. The two-stage built in amp adjusts the sound to your ears and offers a nice tuner that lines up perfectly with other tuners I have tried. You can also add your phone or tablet for backing tracks, music, etc. No Bluetooth but I like the simpler way anyway. Bluetooth tends to have latency issues, and I have none with this set-up. I use some pretty good headphones, but I have also used the older style Apple earbuds and they sound great. I travel with these in the case but use the better headphones at home. The neck is solid and very comfortable. It's hard to believe you are playing a travel size guitar! I do use a strap for my personal comfort, but the larger body does well in other positions. I have yet to fly with this guitar, but this is really no bigger than my baritone ukulele that has thousands of miles on it. The silent feature is good for me when we are in a hotel and my wife sleeps in. I can still practice without disturbing her. The ukulele was not good for that...

Perfect for practicing quietly, or for travel
This guitar is all I hoped for, and more. It's compact for travel, but that's just the beginning. It has a full-size neck but is much smaller than a standard guitar. It's got an adjustable truss rod, and they even include a wrench in case you need it, but mine arrived so well set up that I realized my dreadnought needed a trip to the luthier! It has a built-in tuner so there's no mucking about with an extra piece of equipment and it doesn't require special strings (comes with D'Addario extra lights). It's not shown in the Amazon pictures, but it's got a standard output for an amp, right where you'd want it to be. Plus, it's got a headphone jack so you can play without disturbing the whole house. As a quiet practice guitar, it's better than using an unplugged electric with a headphone amp, because it also has an aux input, so you can play along with your mp3 player or (as I do) feed in the audio from streaming guitar lessons while you play. My only warning is that if you are someone who tends to rest your pinky on the guitar, you'll find the tuners right where you would ordinarily be bracing. But since "everyone" says that's a bad habit anyway, maybe this is your opportunity to break that habit.
