These brushes made my hair smoother and shinier. Longer ball-ended byline bristles massaged scalp. I have used boars bristle brushes in the past but they did not seem to feel like they were getting all the way through my fine, but very thick hair... this brush did. The brush is easy to grip and light weight. I have started doing 50 strokes at night and before bed and my very wavy hair is less tangly and the ends no longer look dry. I know it's supposed to be 100 strokes , but I'm too easily bored for that :-) It has lost a few bristles from time to time but not many and this brush was much less expensive than some of the others. I will say that I have one of the more expensive Bass brushes of the same general design which is better, but for the price this is a very good brush, and the the second one that I leave out for my grandchildren to use .

As I’ve gone grey, my hair has either finer or feeling coarser hair, depending on where you touch. Even though strand is thick. It just feels one way or the other. And there is a LOT of hair. The bristles on this brush get through my thick head of hair with ease and aren’t so long as to scratch me too much. Just enough to feel good. It even works well with a hair dryer. So good on the manufacturer.

I purchased the 2 pack of this brush after testing my sister in law’s on a beach vacation. My daughter and I have long hair which can tangle easily, especially in certain environments like the beach with the breeze and salty water. I was instantly impressed as my daughter had no complaints or squeals when I brushed her hair. Immediate winner! I went ahead and ordered the brushes and we’ve been using them daily with no issue. The combination of bristles helps to smooth your hair as it easily works to detangle the strands. My husband and son even like using the brushes- I highly recommend these for all hair types!

Awesome hairbrush that gets through my somewhat unruly locks and the natural boar bristles give a wonderful sheen and smoothness to my hair when using regularly. Love it so much I purchased more as gifts! The only downside of this particular brush is the somewhat bulky handle, a bit clunky in my small hands. I wish it were a bit narrower or more rounded.
