Does anyone know for sure if this is lead and cadmium free?

There's no such thing as "lead free", everything has a certain amount of lead in it as it's a naturally occurring element in the earth. The question is if the levels are low enough to be considered safe for a product that will be in direct contact with food, or a food crop? Europe in generally well regulated, so if it was made in Italy, as someone else has claimed, then it should be within safe levels.

Can anyone give the total height and diameter of the Geo in inches? Anybody know where to buy this without paying shipping? Thanks

When the seeds.begin growing, do you then have to set the 4 trays on the counter? Doesn’t look like there’s enough room to keep them stacked?

There is enough room. It is a wonderful design. You can choose to rotate the trays slightly & there is a ledge provided to add a gap large enough for growth.
