I've been drinking Slate drinks for two months now and they are worth getting if you are looking for High Protein drinks with natural sweeteners. I started off with the classic variety pack and if you are expecting these to taste like chocolate milk or milk in general, you are best sticking with Core Powers (which I also like but have more calories and sugar/sugar alternatives). None of these drinks are very sweet but both the chocolate and dark chocolate taste good. I'm not a fan of the vanilla which is very bland but it's fine if you eat something along with it. I'd highly recommend the chocolate variety which has the mocha flavor and is the sweetest and best tasting, however it has caffeine which may not be what everyone is looking for in a protein drink. Due to the not liking the vanilla, I haven't tried the coffee variety pack because it has a vanilla latte but I think I'll give it a go for my next order because of how much I like the mocha flavor. If so, I will update this accordingly. I've seen these at some grocery stores so if you are on the fence about buying a 12 pack, I'd recommend getting one of the chocolates or mocha and then ordering a case on here to save money.

Most protein shakes are too sweet and too thick for my liking. These are good straight out of the can, though my favorite way to drink them is to mix with cold coffee and pour them over crushed ice in a glass (yes, even the mocha flavored) for a guilt free iced latte. The shake is very filling and I often start my day with one for breakfast and follow up with a light lunch several hours later. Of course I prefer to find Slat Milk on sale, who doesn’t love a bargain? but honestly they’re a good value at full price as well, it easily replaces a meal and I can’t think of any meal I can buy or prepare for $3.

Love the milk chocolate and latte flavors. The dark chocolate is just a touch off - they're all drinkable, the dark chocolate one is just a touch too bitter on the dark chocolate flavor. They're great refrigerated and the texture isn't as rich as milk, yet nicely filling. It's just right and I look forward to ordering more milk chocolate ones!

Great for after workout

The drinks are fantastic, but even though this was in a box within a box, the cans are completely destroyed. It’s so disappointing.

Slate Milk has quickly become my go-to high-protein snack! This chocolate variety pack—including Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, and Mocha Latte—tastes amazing across the board. Each flavor is smooth, rich, and not overly sweet, which makes it feel like a treat without the guilt and they are soooo filling!. I love that each can packs 20g of protein with just 1g of sugar and only 100–110 calories. It’s a perfect post-workout boost or midday snack. Plus, the fact that it’s lactose-free is a huge bonus. I’ve set up an auto-refill so I never run out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty, low-sugar, high-protein drink! We absolutely love these drinks - they are amazing with espresso shots or even on their own!

Not a big fan of the taste of these. The aftertaste is kinda ick too. I tried using a straw and that got me through the case, but I just didn’t like the taste. Everything else about them is ideal. Everyone has different taste buds and maybe you’ll like them. This is just me. These did not cause me any stomach upset. They did suffice for appetite control. The nutritional value is a great, and the convenience is great too. I never attempted to mix them with anything because that’s just not me so I can’t say how they would be mixed. They’re about average for the value for the money.
