The colors were perfect on my pup. Bright and stood out. Way to wash off as well.

I thought my blue one was tapped, so I almost tossed it out. They twist up like eyeliner. They’re 100% odorless and don’t stain. I got red all over my hand, but it came right off with a spritz bottle and a paper towel. Some advice for soft poodle/bichon/poodle-mix type hair: You want to have a small, soft slicker. NOT the pointless slickers with pins; those just rip hair out. I bathed, brushed and super conditioned my mini poodle two days beforehand. They need to be 100% dry and brushed out. Color by section. Hold the hair, then use the pen to backbrush in reverse. So instead of going against the lay, you’re painting the hair down in the direction of growth. Go over the surface lightly with your slicker to gently break it up before it dries. For flat-coated breeds, I’d just go over it with a medium or course-tooth comb to keep the color even. The coverage is decent. I will go over Jackie’s to fill in the gaps, but arthritis says that’s enough coloring and brushing for today. It’s cool that you can just go berserk and experiment without ruining their fur. I had a lot of fun coloring Jackie’s legwarmers. I can’t wait to try other colors. I might grow her ear tassels back in just to make them pink and purple or something. Edit: It faded on her legs after about 2 days. The top of her head sees less friction, so it hasn’t faded at all.

As always with pet things like this, I first tried it on my own skin, and left it on, and unwashed, for 24 hours, because some things that are sold for dogs will cause itchiness and a rash. Happily this one didn't, so then we tried it on our dogs. The colors are bright and easy to apply, very fun! They seem go on best when the ambient temperature is at least 70f (21c) because if the temperature is too cold they're a little harder to apply (but still do work). They're super easy to use, and they don't have any odor, so our dogs don't mind them. They can also be layered, so we can create even more colors, like mixing the white and red to get a pink. Lots of fun for special events!

As others have said I was dismayed to find this more like a crayon rather than a marker and did not think it would work well. However I was pleasantly surprised that it did. Went on easy, did not rub off in anything and was super cute on my Pom’s tail. Changed from vibrant to pastel after one wash which was fine by me. If you want it to wash out right away you will be disappointed. Took at least three washes depending on the color. My only complaint is I was assuming there was a bit more product. They do not twist up somewhat you see of the tip is all there is. This is a little problematic for some of the more popular colors as I’ll definitely run out in certain colors.

I'm giving this a one star because I can't give it a no stars .This product doesn't work like it claims. The color is not what is should be red is more like pink . The die comes off all over everything. Every where my fur baby went she left pink die . The only thing that is true is that it does wash out with soapy water and a rag . I had to soapy wash the whole floor and all the furniture any where she had been.

I'm a professional groomer and I purchased these to use on my own personal pets. OPaws is a very safe, trusted, reputable brand in the industry. I've always wanted to experiment with temporary color on my pets, but had no idea if anything would even show up. So, I have uploaded photos for all of you wondering if these will work on your pet. I tested them on a black & white medium coated dog (mutt), a short coated brown dog (catahoula mix), and a short coated brindle black mask dog (boxer/GSD mix). I also tested them on a siamese cat and a tuxedo cat. Overall, they worked better than expected on darker coats but they aren't great. The colors don't last long, only about two or three days. The rainbow did slightly rub off on the couch but it wasn't a big deal. They are not easy to apply, it's time consuming and inefficient. These two amazing tempered attention-loving cats got pretty fed up with me applying them. They're good for a little short lived fun.

Listen… if you’re thinking about it… JUST DO IT!! No regrets

Ready the above words. These are temporary color crayons. They won't last forever. Which is a good thing. The color is awesome. Especially if dark dogs/cats. The show up well on most hair with out lifit natural color. I use a LOT of hair spray and the colors last a while. Or you can use no extending products and it leaves in a few days. Or wash it off. I have brushed and combed when prayed with no effect on color. It CAN rub off especially if not over sprayed with hair spray. Keep this in mind if you have light color furniture or car upholstery, while wearing light color clothing. I love this product- all Opaws stuff! Buy it everyone need color in life!

I bought the pack of pens to colour my Pom after I saw someone on Reddit do the same using Opawz. First I just did some test patches on the back of her ears to see how long it would last and if it rubbed off on the furniture (like someone else said in their review.) But it was totally fine, it didn't rub off on anything. It lasted a week. It was fading a little bit by then but it was still there. I washed it out in the shower and you could still faintly see it after a wash, which was fine by me and then today, I have coloured her fully as I wanted to and I love it, and I will use them again. I only wish that there was a crayon pen in a pale baby pink colour. Because I don't like the magenta pink, but I couldn't find a pale pink in a pen in any brand.

Incroyable, j'ai pu m'amuser avec mes chats par contre ne vous attendez pas a quelque chose qui compte rester cest un peu comme si on met des pastels gras si le chat se toilette alors ca partira et loin des 3 lavage plutot en seulement 1 lavage, a part ca je suis satisfaite j'ai vraiment pu rire avec eux en simulant un maquillage il y a meme pas besoin dappuyer fort pour impregner la couleur donc tout a pu etre fait sans gène avec des petits ronrons, voila 😅

I wasn’t really convinced these would work well on purchasing - I only really bought them for the white as I wanted to do a skeleton face for Halloween but they’re brilliant. Not only did the white work on the black (you have to go over it a few times but that’s to be expected) I couldn’t resist testing the colours on his white patch, which you can see from the photo was very vibrant!
