I have been wearing these Elle Bamboo socks since they first came on the Sock-Shop web-site. They are perfect under leggings on a chilly day and during the winter to keep the cold out. They wash really well, word of warning though, do not tumble dry them. I place mine on an airer over a radiator. I washed 3 pairs yesterday and they were all dry this morning. I much prefer the Elle Branded Knee-High socks, they a deep but comfortable cuff which holds the socks in place all day. If looked after properly, they will last for years. My only problem is the choice of colours, I love them all.

I should start by saying I almost never write reviews - but I need to make an exception here. It probably seems mad to be raving about socks, but these are spectacularly good. I was a bit nervous about them, mostly because I'm slightly on the heavy side and I wondered whether they'd be too tight at the top. But nothing ventured, etc. So they arrived this morning. I tried them on and they fit beautifully. Not tight, but firm enough not to be sliding down every five minutes. They are soft, silky and don't have any rough seams. I bought the white to wear with my trainers, as it turns out they're not bright optical white but rather a nice very pale creamy colour. I'm delighted. Suffice to say I'll be having some more. Probably quite a lot more, in fact.

My goodness it's difficult to find a good quality navy knee length sock (M and S only do black). I'm very happy with these, they feel soft and comfortable, seem hardwaering, and hold up well. If I could make one criticism it would be that they are almost too long - I'm tall and they come right up to my kneecap. However, that won't put me off buying more - if you want a navy knee length these must be some of the best.

Lovely quality, soft socks that keep their shape and wash extremely well. My older pairs have been going strong for a couple of years now.

I wondered how on earth socks could be made from bamboo, but it really does work! These socks fit perfectly (UK 5 / EU 38) with a good bit of stretch around the calf but without being loose. The softness is remarkable and there's no uncomfortable toe seam. I shall be buying more and can thoroughly recommend.

These socks are really comfortable. The flat seam accross the toes is so much better than the rough seams you get with many socks. My feet are about a 4 and these socks fit quite well. They are lovely and soft and stay up well without pinching. This is my second lot of these socks. I have had the first set for a couple of years and haven't found other makes that are as good.
