How long is the electric cord?

No sure exactly, but I mounted it almost to the ceiling and the cord was plenty long enough....maybe 5 feet?    I didn't need an extension cord.

I am sorry... I purchased this fan for a locker room at a Fitness Center I had managed (years ago).  I suggest checking the owners manual for contact information of the manufacturer or using good ole' google.

Hello,It comes with drywall anchors, screws & mount.  You'll insert 3 dry wall anchors into the wall, lay the mount on top and screw down the screws.  Then slide the fan onto the mount and you're good to go!

Is this fan a three speed and if it is, can it be wired direct so that a switch with three settings will operate it at different speeds? Thanks for yohelp.

It is true that the fan may be hard wired. However, the answers provided so far do not completely explain how to do it safely and within the requirements of your local code. The part that I found a bit concerning is the one that suggests to “…[run] the wire within the wall to box.” 
What “box”? The circuit box? If that’s the case and if the buyer is not knowledgeable re doing electrical work, that suggestion should include a note to hire a professional to do the work. If “box” means an outlet or a switch, it still requires a note regarding the fact that hardwired fixtures (lights) are ordinarily part of a dedicated circuit, while outlets are wired to another one (not a big deal, but it should be noted in case of a strict code inspector if they visit for some other reason and notice). Even though this fan’s amperage is very low, the installer needs to be cognizant of how much amperage is already being drawn by other appliances that may be wired to that same circuit (that’s if the suggestion is that “box” means “outlet”). If “box” means switch, do you intend to include a ceiling light turning on when you need power to run to the fan? What if the switch controls an outlet? Are you willing to power on and power off anything else you may wish to connect to that outlet? Perhaps you never turn off that particular switch and will control the fan and, let’s say a floor lamp, using the cords or switch that usually control floor lamps. For brevity’s sake, if you are not very knowledgeable re electrical wiring, at the very least ask someone who may be able to give you some guidance after you explain from where you would like to bring power to the fan. Wiring is sometimes not as easy as just “running a wire to the box.”
