Replaced some older led light strips and I like these better for color, brightness, and CRI which enhances the usability of the light. The length was perfect for my 6ft bed topper. It made a perfect sized U- shape around the left, front, and right side, starting above the left rear window on the side of the topper, all the way around to the back of the right rear window. The 12V source was the existing fused line from the battery back to the topper, and crimp on Male/ Female connectors and an inline switch made installation a breeze. The only thing I don't like so far is the adhesive strip doesn't adhere as well as I'd like. I prepped the surface with 90% rubbing alcohol, and it's a flat painted metal surface that should allow good adhesion. But it has fallen off in a couple places during cold weather twice now in 30 days. I've reattached and it seems to be holding better in warmer weather.

Used in our fifth-wheel, in the kitchen under the cabinets and countertop. The very positive thing is that these rope are wired on both end, so if you cut it ..... you can used the other end too. I also installed some in the bedroom, 1 on each side of the bed (with motion detection) and another one behind the bed head/panel, that i cut in 2 and hooked left and right

Lights work great to light up my enclosed trailer but the adhesive could be stronger, having issues with them falling down.

Installed it on the awning of my van as a side and under awning light. For that application I glued the strip in place and its been working for over two years. I'm using the remainder for a "garage" light under the bed. Big Bang for the buck! Great if it could dim, but oh well.

When I first installed the strip lights, I thought I’d struck gold. Installation was quick, easy, and honestly satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised that I could light up my yard with very little fuss. The LEDs looked fantastic, stuck well, and gave my garden a layered, dimensional glow that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the neighbourhood. But six months outdoors? That’s where the enjoyment has ended. The plastic material these are made from began to crack and split—not from misuse but from what I assume is just normal wear and tear from the sun, heat, and weather. I get it—Mother Nature’s tough, yet this tape turned brittle faster than I expected. Cue the repair phase, where things have fallen apart. Trying to patch or splice these is damn near impossible. No width is listed anywhere—not on the Amazon product page, not on the packaging, not in any instruction manual. Hint: there isn’t one. I bought 8 mm and 10 mm connectors, to no avail. Neither fit. It’s hell trying to figure it out. Even worse, there is no way to contact the company for help: there is no website, email, or carrier pigeon. What works: • Looks great right out of the box • Easy to install • Bright and waterproof (initially) What doesn’t: • Material cracks easily with outdoor use • No width listed = connector roulette • Zero customer support or documentation • Repairing or splicing is a fool’s errand Bottom line: If you want a quick, no-fuss glow for a season or two, these’ll do. But if you’re expecting long-term reliability or plan to maintain them, prepare to join the “connector collector’s club” and spend more time than you’d like playing LED surgeon.
