MIUMI Salt & Pepper Mill Shakers Set of 2 - Premium Salt and Pepper grinder set, Adjustable and Easy To Use, Stainless Steel Top, Ceramic Rotor and a Thick Glass Body with Large Capacity (5.2" tall)

Bought this purely for function, size and economy a few weeks back. Fulfills all three. The two grinders in the box are identical but the clear glass lets you see what you are using. to use one takes off the 'air-tight seal' top which is easy to do --- one does not have to use force to take off or put on the top. Twisting the top half while holding upside down causes the grinding action. The action is good, and there is little force needed. In fact, it was so easily done that at first I was in doubt if anything was coming out, (the grind is very fine so hard to see). In fact, it grinds a pretty fair amount. Surprised because in the past I had bought salt and pepper from a grocery store already packaged in a throw-away grinder that was very very hard to turn; the top was very hard to fit on/take off, and stingy in the amount produced per turn so this item was a good surprise. Highly recommend it. Seen a lot of very fancy items listed here as well. Not sure just what one would need anything for that is so fancy. This is good enough for the job it is supposed to do.

When I received this product and opened up the package to examine and test the mills, I noticed the grinding mechanism on one mill seemed to be slightly dysfunctional. It would not move as it should and I had to forcefully remove it and put it back into place in order to get it in the correct position. The other mill worked as it should. I sent off an email to the seller about this and they responded within one hour letting me know they placed an order for a new set and told me not to worry about returning the initial set. Customer service was extremely helpful and generous. The new set arrived quickly and both mills work perfectly; the grinding mechanisms are easily adjustable and it provides a nice range of fine-to-coarse grinding. The size of the container, in my opinion, is just right—not too small, not too large—so it holds a decent amount which doesn't require frequent refills and it fits nicely into your hand as you grind the mill. Definitely recommend this set.

These grinders are awesome. I put sea salt in and it came out as fine as powder! They are made of a heavy glass, that even dropping may not break them (except on stone or ceramic flooring). The fittings are all tight and solid and the brushed stainless is very modern and attractive. The caps don't fall off while grinding, so if you want to grind a quantity and then use a pinch here or there, you can retrieve it right from the cap instead of grinding for every pinch while cooking or if you want to grind a different spice in the jar. There is even a recipe using several spices included on the instruction card! These are well packaged for shipping in recyclable materials (plastic sleeves/cardboard box). The package was received as promised in shipping details. They will fit in beautifully in my newly renovated kitchen and would make a lovely housewarming or other special occasion gift.

Nice grinders for $5 ea. Look nice and work well. For the price they're great in fact they look like the same grinders that are sold under different names for up to twice the price. I guess one company in China makes all of them. I'm not crazy about having to take the lids off each time but that seems to be the new style and I guess it helps to preserve freshness. I also wish they looked more finished if stood upside down but the glass has raised printing on it. I'm being over critical but I give so many 5 star reviews I felt I should point out the little things. All in all I'm satisfied and got my money's worth

Very pleased with this purchase. I just bought my first home and figured it's time to invest in a decent quality grinder set and ditch the disposable salt and pepper shakers. Lol. They are easy to fill and the lids simply pop on and off to cover the grinder. No unsightly salt or pepper dust. They store with the grinder upright so no dust rings left on your counter either. To change the coarseness of the grind, just twist the "screw" head off the grinder in the direction of the size dots you desire. Turning right makes it more fine, left more coarse. It takes very minimal effort to grind. These look and feel really high quality, nice and heavy. Evenly balanced when in use. Exactly what I was hoping for without spending a ton of money.

Purchased the set of two 5.2 inch tall grinders in September 2018. We’re using one for peppercorns and the other one for Himalayan sea salt. Both units worked great right away, however, after a couple of months of use the grinder with the sea salt no longer worked. Disassembly of the grinder is fairly easy so I took it apart, cleaned out the salt crystals that were in the unit and then put everything back together. Still didn’t work. I contacted MIUMI direct from the “Contact” link on the miumilife.com website. Within days I received a response directing me to a YouTube video on how to disassemble and reassemble the grinder and asking that I verify all of the parts are installed. I reviewed the YouTube video and verified that all of the parts were there and replied back to MIUMI. I received a reply back, again within a day, requesting my Amazon order number, which I then provided. The very next day a replacement set was on its way to me. The new grinder works great right now but what really impressed me was their customer service. Don’t often find that dedication to customer satisfaction today. Highly recommend.

I bought this set about 8 months ago; I was quite happy with them; I found them stylish, easy to use, smooth & with great range of grinding sizes. But recently the dial to change the grind size became stuck on one of them I couldn't adjust it anymore. I contacted MIUMI to ask if they could replace the mechanism and they responded so quickly that a brand new SET arrived on my doorstep before I could even follow up on their response! I am quite pleased and would recommend this quality set to anyone. Knowing that MIUMI backs their products with confidence and such responsive customer service is a big plus! Buy them; you'll be glad you did.

These arrived basically overnight, so fast delivery. They're exactly the size I wanted, and I like the styling. They're adjustable, and the fine setting is really fine, which is nice. I like that you turn them over to dispense, so no ring of pepper on the table. One of them was a little rattly, but the other was fine. UPDATE: So after a few weeks of use, things are not as great. The adjusters keep backing off, causing your grind texture to change. And if you tighten it too much, you get nothing. We're constantly fiddling with both of them every time we use them. We're now in the market for something else.
