Years ago, I used this for baking and chai, but the spicy "zing" was entirely lacking. Flat. I switched to a well respected, small business manufacturer and was beyond satisfied... Until I wasn't. The last packet was clumped, wet, and long past the expiration date. So, due to the insane expense of quality, reliable (safe!) ginger, decided to take the risk and give the Handpick/Vahdam ginger another try. It's excellent! Not certain if this is a one-time-excellent batch, but for the time being, I can simply enjoy, reap the benefits of - and savor the essential kick that's necessary in my daily masala chai! As for baking, I can guarantee that this batch would be the perfect addition to your homemade "Pumpkin Pie Spice" mix. The texture is neither gritty, nor soft. It's just right. After measuring individually, I simply mix my Pumpkin Pie Spice: Combine the ground ginger, nutmeg, Ceylon cinnamon, cloves, cardamom (allspice, if I'm lucky), and pour them into my McCormick spice shaker, and store in a dark cabinet or the fridge. The ginger is spicy, and versatile, and my homemade Spice Mix is at the ready for chai, desserts, even homemade whipped cream or coffee creamer. Enjoy!!

I absolutely love this Lakadong turmeric! The rich, earthy aroma is incredible right out of the package. It adds a beautiful color and deeply enhances the flavor profile of my jasmine rice. Highly recommended for anyone wanting top-quality turmeric! I do know this increased energy when I consume this product

Has a very nice scent. I crack the pods open and crush seeds to make a tea out of it when I feel a little congested. It helps clear me out. Added a clove as well. Their prducts are very good.

Carry a very minty flavor

This product gives my food an amazing flavor; it's a little spicy, but that's exactly what I like about it. Being in powder form makes it easier to add and dissolve in food. Indian gooseberry is a great ally for people who suffer from insulin resistance.

I use fenugreek for its medicinal properties and THIS is HANDS DOWN the best I’ve had so far. I use it in my coffee along with a single pack of Splenda and some non dairy powdered hazelnut creamer for a sweet treat that doesn’t spike my glucose..and as a result I have come completely off my daily 33 units of PAINFUL INJECTIONS of insulin DAILY. 🙌 This spice totally helps regulate blood sugar…not to mention helps store a little extra wood for the fire 🔥 (If you know what I mean) It… along with a low carb high protein Diet at 66 years old has completely changed my life for the better. Little too peppery

The most potent antioxidant fruit you ever need, BUT the tatse as expected is very foul you will need to find your best solution to injest this. Ours was just a teaspoon on the tounge and wash it down. Great quality if what is to be believed on the packaging.

this is a high quality product and great value for money. dissolves easily and has that typical earthy sweet taste that many adaptogenic plants have. wonderful when mixed with hot chocolate or coffee.

Nice strong taste

I absolutely love the taste of this. It’s a very unique flavour and goes well in tea. I haven’t used it for anything else yet but I’m sure I will. The pods themselves seem very fresh and very well packaged. I can’t speak for any health benefits yet because I haven’t used them long enough to notice any. The flavour alone make them worth using and any health benefits is a bonus.
