Why is this double the price compared to walmart and everywhere else?

Because generally anything sold here costs more than Walmart. But not always. It's easy enough to compare prices between the two.

How long does it take to work?

It just takes a few seconds for me. And definitely do NOT drink water right afterwards. Wait at least 15 minutes or it won't work.

Why does it say expires 2017?

I have no idea. My last order, placed in April 2019, which I still have unopened bottles of has an expiration date of 01/2022. I would recommend sending a message to the seller directly and have them replace the order.
