Perfect first!
Great first Bible. The pictures inside are a nice touch

Great for Early Readers or non-native speakers
I love this translation for the youngest reader who is ready to move past storybook Bibles. It still has beautiful illustrations throughout, but it is actual scripture, not stories. My youngest wanted to have her own Bible and this one is perfect. I also love the soft cover. This is also a great translation for people who are not native English speakers because of the simplicity of the translation.

Awesome real bible
Our youth pastor was giving a sermon at church. She had mentioned this bible many times and how kids can read this and understand without the thy and thou. As I had gone to a Christian School thru k-12th grades. I ordered it and I am still reading. Very young children has this with pictures and reading like a night time before sleeping. The 9 or 10 kids and read this and understand what the bible is saying as like a conversation easy reading. I purchased it to see for myself.. I can only wander what it would have been like if we had back in the day of growing up. I am now 78 and rereading the bible and don't want to put it down.

For adults too...
I purchased this Bible for personal study as an adult. I have to say I am quite satisfied. Pros: - nice cover and feels almost like velvet when you touch it - language is simple, yet fidelity is maintained - decorated with 20some images with brilliant colours Cons: - I would have liked a larger font - I would have liked more robust paper - Sometimes poetry is lost in this children's version I have also added some nice stickers I recently purchased on Amazon because this Bible makes me feel a bit like a child, and I fancied some decoration. I recommend this Bible both for children and for adults.

Great quality
The quality of the cover, pages and illustrations is great. The language used is clear and easy to understand without being dumbed down. This is the perfect Bible for a pre or early teen reader or for someone who is co fused by old biblical translations.
