Perfect first book for little ones!
This book is super cute and perfect for 1-year-olds. The stories are short, colorful, and very engaging. My baby loved the pictures and it keeps attention really well. Quality is great, pages are sturdy, and it’s a wonderful bedtime or daytime reading book. Definitely worth buying!

Great gift!
Awesome and great gift! I saw some stories I read as a young child and some ones I don’t remember, but it’s an amazing gift. Some stories included: Little red hen The ittsy bitty spider Milo monkey’s surprise Baa baa black sheep Five little ducks

Novelty stories for enlarging a library, not the tried and true
The (6) 2 page stories were not in my repertoire, except for Little red hen. Stories rhymed with lines for vocalizing sounds: Milo monkey and a banana, Ella elephant exploring with brothers, Octopus going to bed, 5 baby ducks counting, a fire engine. The songs were to my ear better: Old MacDonald, Bingo, Baa Baa blacksheep, Itsey bitsey spider, Hey diddle diddle, This little piggy. Possibly I am just too old to appreciate these stories, but I didn't want to read them more than once to my niece.

Books are good, start them out young
Have a niece in that age group. Parents are doing a great job. Have been getting books and reading to her. Hope this will take hold, and she'll like reading books, and stay off those cell phones or what every they will have by then.
