This stuff works wonders! I use well water and no matter how much we soften it I still get rust in my toilet tanks Put 1/2 bottle in the tank when I went to bed and the next morning ALL the rust had dissolved and disappeared! So easy and now I can repeat monthly or as needed. Cuts the time cleaning the bowl of rust stains!

Update: I honestly forgot all about this product until I was cleaning out under the sink and found the second bottle I had. Which then quickly had me check the tanks to see them getting gross again so I made sure to get pictures this go around. This powder honestly had my tanks clean within like 15 minutes and all I did was dump it. If I wanted my tanks 100% clean I'd have to hand scrub along the water line but I'm not that extra. But I've attached the before and after pictures. Let me set the scene. One day, I wake up to use the restroom and notice the water is slightly brown and has something in it that looks like coffee grounds. My first thought is what the heck? Why would my husband dump coffee grounds down the toilet but he hasn't drank any in a long while, and I don't at all, so that stopped that theory. I flush whatever it is and think that's that. Wrong! This time the water is even darker so now I'm investigating. Our towns local page didn't post about any water issues so it's gotta be a me problem. Water in the sink runs clear so it's a toilet issue so that's when I looked in the tank and was greeted by black slush like mineral build-up. Yes, I also realize I should have just checked the tank first but adhd. Anyways, so since the toilet is next to the shower and we have a shower head with a hose, I decide to try and rinse it since it came off the sides of the tank when I touched it. Well, water alone didn't cut it so being the busy mom I am I let it fill back up with water and dump bleach in there. Didn't do a whole bunch even after sitting for hours so moving on to the next thing. This time I tried oxy and again letting it sit. After a few hours the bottom of the tank was clean but the sides still had residue on them and I didnt feel like scrubbing them. A quick Google search led me here and I figured why not. After all, my goal was to just dump something in and having it cleaned with chemicals vs me spending 10 minute cleaning it myself. Read the instructions and you use half a bottle and let it sit overnight. We'll, I really wish I would have gotten a before picture because this thing cleaned the whole thing and I didnt have to lift a finger. I didn't even have to wait all night, for me, it cleaned it within an hour. The only thing that's still dirty is the faint line of where the water ends. That will take 30 seconds to wipe down though since I can just take a cloth and run it along the edge, if I even want to do that. We have 2 toilets and I did the same thing with the other toilet as well and it is clean as well. That one didn't get any chemicals to try cleaning it since I wasn't going to waste product on 2 toilets if it wasn't working. But yeah, 100% recommend if you have hard water and aren't using a water softener because it's an iron and other minerals that built up. As a busy mom, I never even thought to clean my water tanks as well. Especially since I've never had to do it at my other houses. But glad I found this product and it did what I needed it to do.

I scrubbed the inside of the tank best I could before putting half bottle in and letting dry overnight. Took some of the stains out, but not completely. Put rest of the bottle in next night and let it sit til morning. It did remove some more of the staining. Stuff is fairly cheap, so not that disappointed.

Reading other reviews from people that had bought this and given the price point, I thought what the heck, honestly, I had never even thought about the need to clean a toilet tank, but then I opened my lid and thought that is certainly not helping the ring I was battling in my toilet bowl. This could not be easier to use you literally shake the powder/crystals into your tank. Let it sit overnight and the next day it’s magically clean! Not a single scrub was performed and the before, and after doesn’t lie.

I'm not overimpressed with the cleaning job this product provided. It did clean some of the discolorization but I'm hesitant to use it again because about two days later the plastic piece that controls the water refill popped off. To be fair there's no way for me to know if this cleaning product caused this or just bad timing but I hadn't any any issues before using this product. Hence my hesitancy.

Trying very hard not to be overly enthusiastic, as product testimonials that heavily praise an item can be viewed with suspicion by some who are debating whether to take a chance on something they have no prior experience using. That being said... This Toilet Tank cleaner worked beyond my wildest dreams. I went in skeptical- after so many things tried to clean a toilet tank that failed...I followed the advice of another commenter, use only half the bottle on the first attempt. An appointment needed me to leave home overnight, so the cleaner stayed in longer than the recommended time. Got home the next day and flushed. Disappointment crept in as the water coming down into the bowl wasn't the least bit dark... Was expecting something more...dramatic. As in decades of calcium soot swirling away. I lifted the tank cover and was stunned to see a nearly all white tank. The only thing left was the water line ring, and even that was 60% gone. Why did it take so long to find something that worked? The next night I poured half of what was left in the tank (with some brushing around the water line), and the other in the bowl itself, as the toilet brush could never reach as far down the bowl as needed. Next day more of the water line ring had faded-not all, but enough to be noticeable...And the bowl's very bottom was a bit brighter-not shiny white, but again, you could tell the difference. Again, for the skeptical but hopeful, this Instant Power tank cleaner worked for me, and comes highly recommended.

This product lived up to all the great reviews. Water in toilet had a brown tint but taps were running clear. An overnight application turned tank from ugly to sparkling. Wow both for performance and value for money.

This toilet tank cleaner worked really well. Followed the instructions and the toilet tank was clean the next morning. Really nice that I don't have to scrub or get my hands dirty

It cleans everything inside the tank including the plastic parts of the flushing mechanism. I used a few tablespoons of the powder and leave it for a few hours. The tank walls are restored to white and the grudge built up on the plastic is gone. The plastic parts are the hardest to manually clean because lots of the areas are inaccessible but visible. This powder just removes them effortlessly.

My euro type cistern flush valve was affected by scale and had the classic constant dribbling leak into the toilet pan. It was built in and very difficult to access and clean by hand. After using this all scale removed and no longer leaking. Saved me a large plumber repair bill.
