My hair is a natural light brown, and I had some grown out highlights. This is the best color deposit I’ve ever had with henna. I used 1.25 bags for my mid back length hair.

This product worked really well, it was not my favorite but I've ever purchased but it was close to the top. The henna stayed dark for many days.

I saw that this was a frequently returned item so thought I would offer some insight. This works excellently if you follow the instructions precisely. In particular, do not mix it until about 20 minutes before you plan to use it. This is a natural product and if you try to mix it a day or two ahead, it will develop an odor. In this way, it is not like henna, which you might mix well before use. Follow the instructions and it's a great value for the price.

The color is very nice and lasts a long time but it made my scalp burn. This has never happened to me with henna before. Not sure what's going on.

I’ve used this henna for 4 years and it has consistently delivered! Pure henna powder with no additives- smells great and fresh and gives great color payoff. I mix with room temp water and let sit for 6-8 hours, then apply to my hair and let sit for 4ish hours. I’ve done one initial full head application and then only my roots- the color is flawless. I have also added highlights using bleach and there were no adverse reactions and it lifted well.
