How are these bags cleaned?

I washed the inside with a damp cloth. The outside just brushed.

Does it absorbe the food odor when zipped? I need a bag that will absorbe the odor so my car won’t smell bad after I deliver food.

I only use it for personal use, but I don't seem to have any problem with odor escape, if you will, the food I carry is also not very "pungent". The only problem I have with the bag is the size, it is not big enough to hold a large pizza flat on the bottom. If they intend for the bag to be set up some different sort of way, it may be possible, but I don't use it that much to find out, I don't deliver.

How many pounds of weight will it hold safely?

I just pile it to the top. It has held 20 pounds of ice.
