Very good
Iโm very happy with this telescope. It is easy to set up, lightweight, and beginner-friendly. The adjustable tripod works well, and the image quality is clear for the price. Itโs a great choice for kids or adults who are just getting started with astronomy. We enjoyed using it to look at the moon, and it made the experience fun and educational. Overall, good value and a nice starter telescope.

Solid first telescope for my kid
Got this for my son's birthday last week and we finally had a clear night to try it out. The moon looked amazing โ you can see the craters realy clearly. Setup was easy even for me lol, tripod is decent but a little wobly if you touch it. The phone adapter is cool but took a few tries to line up the camera right. Carrying bag is nice for storage. Great little scope for beginners, just don't expect to see Saturns rings in high detail. Definitly worth the money.

Great Beginner Telescope to Adults and Kids
I purchased this telescope for my nephew who is enamored with space and astronomy. He was delighted when he unwrapped the gift and realized it was a telescope. Being an amateur astronomy buff myself, I helped my nephew's father assemble the scope. The assembly process is quite straightforward and the fact that there is a phone adapter to capture the night sky was a great bonus. The adapter was easy to connect, but we did have to spend a couple of minutes to adjust it so that the camera lens lined up with the eye piece. Since the telescope doesn't have a servo motor to track the images across the sky (his next telescope), it does take time to find a good sky object and make sure that the camera is steady enough to take the shot of the image. This is where I believe there is one area that can be improved on this product, and that is the tripod stand. The manufacturer can make this a bit more robust and add some mass to it so that it doesn't wobble as much, especially since younger kids are less gentle with their telescopes and other instruments than older kids or young adults. It is easy to knock the telescope over or inadvertently move it just after spending some time to center on a sky object. Overall, however, it is a good beginner scope and my nephew and his father are spending several evenings each week gazing at the night sky through it.

Five-star rating
I am very satisfied with this telescope. The quality is much better than I expected for the price. It was easy to set up and works great for viewing the moon and stars at night. The image is clear and sharp, and the tripod is stable. Shipping was also fast and everything arrived in perfect condition. Overall, this is an excellent telescope for beginners and anyone interested in astronomy. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Really Disappointed In Product
UPDATE: I have received two emails from someone poising as Amazon Customer Service asking me to remove my negative review for compensation thru Paypal or an Amazon gift card. Pretty much figured it wasn't Amazon Customer Service cause for 1, too many misspelled words 2, wanting me to click on a link and 3, why not want honest, unsolicited, reviews whether good or bad that weren't bought?? Implying negative review hurts their company. ANYWAY, NO I'm not deleting my review!!! This telescope was intended as a Valentine present from my husband since I love to look at the sky at night and in the early morning when I'm out with our little dog. After several hours of trying to see something in the night sky and couldn't, we gave up. With the few parts it should not have been that hard to point at a starry sky and see something besides "blur". As savvy as my husband is in figuring mechanical things out, even he couldn't figure out how to make it focus. The lens seem to be weak. The angle at which we had to position it was so awkward that I'd have to lay down on the ground to look through the lens, let alone sit in a chair. Also the star chart wheel was useless to us since we don't read Chinese. I didn't try the cell phone holder but I had a feeling that it wouldn't stay attached and could damage my cell, which cost far more than the telescope. I wish I would have read reviews before we purchased it or I would not have chosen this one.

Good for a beginner
My first telescope. Convenient to set up and use. Aligning can be tricksome but if I can do it, you can too. The cell phone camera attachment makes it easy to record images and video.

Our family have a new hobby.... looking at the sky and stars!
My first impression was I got dupe with the light weight of the entire telescope. But once everything was assembled and started using it, I was satisfied for the product. In fact, our family are having a blast looking at the stars using the 40x lens. The 10x lens is pretty awesome as well but you can't use it to see the stars. This item is definitely perfect for a beginner user like myself. The assembly was fairly easy, however one round plastic plate that was not mention on the manual where to mount it. I started using it in the afternoon to check out the landscape and I was quite impressed of the clarity it produces. The secret is knowing how to calibrate and adjusting the lens knob. The unit itself is flimsy but family is having a blast learning about the stars. Happy!
