Simply Garden Watermelon Crimson Sweet Seeds for Planting Fruit Grow Your Own Garden

Very tasty watermelon.

Melon seeds have germinate, anyone purchasing seeds is something needs to be soaked in lukewarm water for at least 12 hours then germinate in kitchen paper towels dampened not dripping in a zipper bag on a heat mat make sure you check everyday to see if the white roots have appeared then ready to plant and if the kitchen paper towel is dry spray to dampen. Remember floating seeds are not likely to germinate

Grew well but not much taste

Not even one seed grew. Wouldn't suggest

I was very dubious about growing water melon, even in my greenhouse because I am in north wales where we see little sunshine.. however I chose sow around 8 seeds but only one germinated but I believe this was down to trial and error. I read that this water melon is self pollinating mostly due to the fact that I now have a baby melon that I did not hand polinate! Maybe a bee snuck in but anyway we have constant cloud now so not even sure if it will grow.. One huge tip if you are new to growing these... use farmyard manure because it contains humus that melons MUST have in order to successfully grow.

The delivery was short time but the driver put it at the very end of the letterbox which took a week to get out and it is smaller than picture
