Wow this cable sounds good!
First off let me tell you I have over 100 audiophile cables ranging in price from $30 to $6000. I have high-end gear, 5 different Chord products, Magnepan's, Open baffles, Bryston amps, Aurender W20SE, Mass-Kobo Brise Audio headphone amps, and rooms full of HiFi stuff in 4 different HiFi rigs in various rooms. So I'm a seasoned audiophile. I've purchased several Pangea cables over the years ranging in all their levels of quality. This cable is by far the best cable, not just from Pangea, but from any power cable I've purchased including a few $3000 pure 7N silver Wire World Starlight power cables. It's very thick, heavy, and well-made. Most importantly, I'm not lying, this cable sounds better than my $3000 cables! $300 vs $3000. The Pangea wins. I have it hooked up to a Sonore 5v 1A audiophile linear power supply powering the 5v USB2.0 Mass-Kobo headphone amp. The sounds are so detailed, the bass so pronounced, nearly startling at times, and the precise power delivery by this cable is just astonishing, I'm hearing a ton more information that I've never heard in songs I know. This cable could transform your system if it's high-end audiophile equipment, remember the higher the quality of the equipment the more cables make a difference. And it's not about the price, there is a lot of expensive garbage in HiFi, it's about quality, I like Chord and Bryston Amps, and Mass-Kobo headphone amps, and this Pangea Audio AC 9SE MKII Signature Power Cable will make a big difference.

Excellent piece of audiophile equipment/wiring.
This is a wonderful AC cord thick heavy and powerful. Big difference between the stock and this one. Well worth the money.

Wow!
For reference, I installed this cable in my very revealing, carefully setup, two channel audio system that includes power cables from Shunyata that cost more than $1,000 each. My entire system cost more than $50,000. Not that price indicates quality as this cable from Pangea proves. I purchased two of the 9Ses and 14Se. One 9 Se was put on my power condition, one on a subwoofer, and the 14SE on a CD transport. The effect was immediate and stunning. I'm guessing the most impact comes from the cord on the power conditioner. The cord I was using on that was the stock cord that came with the conditioner while the cords on the transport and sub were older LAT International cords. All other power cords in my system are from Shunyata Research. When I first started replacing stock cords with Shunyata cords I was impressed each time with lower noise floors, better imaging, less glare, deeper soundstage, etc.. At $1500 a piece for a power cord I was impressed but not shocked. Shunyata cords are supposed to make profound differences in a good system. With these cords from Pangea I am shocked by what I hear. I'm hearing low level detail in recordings I've listened to for years that i never heard before. There is an ease to the pace and rhythm that is improved and obvious. The soundstage opened up noticeably and space around voices and instruments is better defined while the velvety black background I was accustomed to has turned into invisible silence. I plan to swap out the Pangeas with the Shunyatas on my components to see what the differences are, if any. I will update this review after that but could not resist the urge to write this review now. I don't know if this power cord will make an inexpensive AV receiver sound way better but in my system the improvement is on par with a significant component upgrade and then some. If you have a decent system, buy these cables without a second thought. If you have a modest system I still say buy a couple of these for your key components and see what you think. For me they are a game changer. My expensive Shunyata cables may go up for sale on Audiogon soon and be replaced by more from Pangea.

terrible
these cables do not bend and fall out of the wall outlets, bought Cardas and love those!

Excellent cord, but about as flexible as a steel rod
The photo doesn't do it justice. This is as thick as a garden hose and about as flexible as a steel rod. Be sure your gear is close enough with enough space behind it to accommodate as there is very little flexibility overall and none at the ends.

BELIEVE THE HYPE!
Wow, I was very skeptical about what kind of effect a power cable could have on sound quality. All I can say is, I am a skeptic, no more! I wanted to return this cable and tell everyone that power cords are snake oil. However, I am absolutely delighted that I will be keeping this beauty from Pangea Audio. I started by swapping out my amplifier's (Yamaha A-S2100) stock power cord with the AC 9SE MKII. I read that the manufacturer recommends about 20 hours of break in. So, as the week went by I would let my system play at a low volume while I went to work each day. By the time the weekend came around, I was ready to do some critical listening. For about 30 minutes, I listened to some of my favorite test tracks on Tidal through my Oppo Sonica DAC. Then I swapped the Pangea back out for the stock cord. The differences, in my experience, were not subtle. Deeper, wider soundstage. Increased definition in mid-range. A lighter, more smooth sounding top end. Bass was tighter and more cohesive. I was hearing details in the music that before, were much harder to notice. I was floored! Everything the converts say is true, power cables MATTER. If you are curious and on the fence, take a chance. I'm sure you will be a believer after you add this outstanding value cable to your hifi setup!
