This is one of my favorite models. The blue metal really makes this look ...
This is one of my favorite models. The blue metal really makes this look special. I love that, once built, the doors will open and close. However you will need tweezers to grab the door handle, because it is way too small to use just fingers. That or I have bear hands. Let's go with too small. It was fun putting this one together. The only challenging party was installing the doors because of the curve required on that section. Normally for smaller rounded sections I use the center of a q-tip to get a good curve. This was smaller by quite a bit. Other than that the build went well, despite the bear hands. Wait, what bear hands? I am very happy with how this turned out. Great quality. Beautiful result. I would buy this again. I won't, but I would.

It's bigger on the inside!
As a child I dreamed of having my own Tardis, so when I saw this I had to have it. Some parts were a challenge, but overall this was a fun build.

Great gift!
I got this for my husband and he loved it! It took him a while longer than he expected which he enjoyed. and the finished product is really cute! he heeps it on his desk in his office. It's really cool that it's metal too! be careful not to bend or scratch it while putting it together. bends make it really frustrating.

This isn't worth it
I have built several of these models. From Hogwarts castle in the snow, down to a grand piano, and in between. This is one of the hardest models, due to size and thinness of some pieces. I got all the way to piece 6, but then piece 6 broke while I was *trying* to bend along the perforations.

If you know someone who like 3-d puzzles or models and loves Doctor Who I recommend this highly.
Great product. If you know someone who like 3-d puzzles or models and loves Doctor Who I recommend this highly. They are small so some of the pieces maybe tricky to get and install. It is recommended to use tweezers or needle nose pliers to bend the tabs to lock the pieces into place, I highly recommend doing it that way. I got these for my nephews 12 and 14 and though i was worried that it would be too difficult for my youngest nephew, he sat there until he had the item completely set up.

Assembly Required
I know, you're going to say "Read the fine print" sort of thing. To be honest I just look at pictures, got super excited to get my hands on a TARDIS, then when I got it my jaw dropped as this lazy person just got hit by "it was at that moment he realized he messed up" because this came as a flat object. I was like, nah that can't be it. Yup, it is. So it's very pretty and everything, but you have to work at it to make it go 2 d, to 3D. Otherwise, I can only say this is going to test my puzzle solving skills to the test. Yes it comes with instructions, but be honest, am I really the ONLY one that don't read those? Please. 4 out of 5 stars. It's great, just all assembly required lol.

TARDIS
This one I have to say was not the hardest one to build, I read some of the other reviews about how fragile these pieces are and I agree. For some reson they seem to have used a lighter gauge of steel. Nothing broke on me and I didnt have any problems making 90 degree bends. I attached the Police Box signs before I made all the hard 90's at the verry top. I bent the tabs that hold the signs, attached them and it worked fine. The hardest part for me were the bottom hinges for the door, yes hinges the doors do open a little. I had to really make those round pieces tight so that the doors actually close, If you mess up the beacon at the top dont worry, they made a spare. But like I said earlier this one does feel lighter and if you bend a 90 degree and realize it needs to be opened again, it will probably break. But with all the Metal Earth models you can jump ahead to make sure you can complete bending a 90 degree angle . I managed to keep it scratch free, the picture is the best I could do. It has reflective surfaces, and the white fuzzy stuff is lint, I tried cleaning It

Very fun project, but quite fragile!
I bought this model as a little project to be displayed on my desk, which it is the perfect size for! I greatly appreciated the various extra pieces included, especially the very small ones. I dropped a door handle on the floor and it was gone forever, but thankfully there were spares! I had some issues with the prong setup for attaching the police box signs; the entire T-shaped prong has to be bent 90 degrees to attach the sign, then the small end is bent again to secure it, which is nearly impossible to do and maintain the first bend. I ended up breaking one of the 2 prongs that secure a sign, so it dangles slightly inside the model. The lower door hinges caused the most issue. I worked very carefully to roll the metal tight enough to fit into the holes in the base, but they ended up not quite round. When I attached the doors, they would not quite close together because of overlapping, and in the process of trying to adjust it enough for the doors to close fully, one of the lower hinges snapped off. This caused the whole door to fall off!! I screamed in frustration, scared my cat, and after 2 hours of building, just had to give up right at the very end.
