honest in-depth review (including a comparison to the Loops Experience)
I'm an avid concert goer and been using Loops Experience earplugs for several months before I lost them recently. I love going to concerts but using earplugs really helps protect my hearing from how often I go and prevent the headaches I would experience after an event. I took the prime day deal as an opportunity to try out the eargasm earplugs to see which earplugs are better (spoiler: the eargasms win). Here is a lengthy review using the Loops Experience as a comparison to help those in the future who are struggling to pick between the two. For context, I am a woman in their 20s so my ears are a bit small. For example, for my Airpod Pros, I use XS eartips if that helps. Even for the Loops, I had to use the smallest eartip and they never once fell out of my ear even when I went to heavy metal concerts. They were also very comfortable to wear. For the eargasms, I never really had an issue of them falling out but I do admit that I have not tried them out in a setting where I'm moving alot or stuck in a mosh pit. They are also very comfortable. It's also a bit upsetting the lack of colors and extreme price differences for the eargasms. I would love to rock some cute pink earplugs if it weren't an extra $10-$15. The loops are more stylish and have more color options without having to spend an extra couple dollars to get the color you want. Now on to the REAL reason why I choose the eargasms over loops: the occulation. Although the loops are WAY more stylish, it's not great if hearing yourself bothers you. When you wear the loops, everything you say is enhanced so you hear even more of yourself while breathing, singing, swallowing, etc. They do a great job of dulling down other people's singing/talking while allowing you to hear the band/singer (but it also makes it difficult to hear the person next to you like a friend). Admittedly, I have not used the eargams in a very loud setting like concerts as of yet, but I used them the other day when I was at a bar with many people around. The noise was very overwhelming but the eargasm made my experience way better. It toned out the loud noise but I was still able to hear clearly. But I never had an issue with my earplugs falling out of my ears as of yet compared to other reviewers. Another thing worth noting is that there was only about a 2 decibel difference between my old Loops and the eargasm but I feel like the eargasms allow more clarity for the music whereas the loops emphasized the bass. The quality of the music was overrall much better on the eargasms. The case of the eargasms is also very exceptional. Very secure and sturdy as the lid needs to be screwed on. It is a bit chunky for my keychain but not a big deal. The loops case lasted me for a while before the string that connected the case to my keychain broke, hence why I lost them :( The only reason why I'm giving the eargasms a 4-star is simply because I haven't tried them out in a concert setting which is the main reason why I bought these earplugs. However, based on everything I written above, I really do like them and hope to change the review to a five star after my next concert outing. update: so after going to the charli xcx/troy sivan sweat tour (was in pit and had a spot at the barricade) i can officially change the rating to five stars. I was less than 6 feet away from the performers for majority of the time and these earplugs did its job!!! I left the venue without any ringing or hearing loss. Despite jumping around and dancing, the plugs stayed in place. Granted, i did feel like I had to press on them at least twice to make sure they stayed in place. But that is to be EXPECTED based on the situation I was in. I also used them in several other concerts but this experience really solidified my opinion. The sound quality was also really great and a huge improvement over the loops. Will be a repeating customer if I ever lost my current pair of eargasms!

Exactly what I looking for as a motorcyclist
[Background information]: I've been riding motorcycle for 6 years now and I use them to commute between my home and school/work. I don't exactly have the quitest exhausts on my motorcycles and that coupled with wind noise causes for a deafening ride, quite literally. Wanting to preserve my hearing, I've always worn earplugs, foam earplugs to be specific. I found that they were the most comfortable and effective way to block out sounds, unlike many rubber, silicone and other types of earplugs that I've tried (I even had custom earplugs from my audiologist at one point, but they were too bulky to fit under a helmet - I still do use those for other loud tasks though and they are amazing in terms of effectiveness and comfort, but a bit pricey). [My thoughts on the earplugs]: Now comes these earplugs. At first, I just thought it was just going to be another pair that wasn't going to work well, however they looked different than the ones I've had before and it sparked my interest. The price was fair, so I pulled the trigger. I'm so glad I did! These do not block out as much sound as my disposable foam earplugs, however they were just effective enough to drown out the wind noise I experience at highway speeds. I was pleasantly surprised. The added bonus to these not blocking out as much sound as my foam earplugs is that I can now hear my intercom and bluetooth speakers (in my helmet) much better! Whereas before it was really a struggle to hear my music or a phone call even at full blast. I found that the acoustic filter isn't as good as they make it seem, while it's functional and does provide a clearer representation of the sound you're supposed to hear without earplugs, it still sounds rather muffled, but I supposed it's hard to get around physics! Especially at this price point, which is actually amazing for what you get. [What you get]: In the package you get two pairs of ear plugs, one slightly smaller than the other. Mine had the acoustic filters already installed in the larger of the two. You also get a nice little carrying case, that I will be attaching to my motorcycle key (since I have a habit of losing everything I own) - a carrying case is pretty standard nowadays with reusable earplugs, but I'm glad they didn't overlook it. As a side note, I don't know If I like that the carrying case is shorter, because the consequence of it being that way, is that it's wider. I would really have to use it more to comment on it. [Conclusion]: All-in-all, I love how these worked out for me. It was pretty much what I was looking for, for the past 6 years of riding motorcycles. If mine go out from wear and tear, I'll definitely be ordering a replacement pair.

Excellent earplugs with strong reduction, but a mid-level filter option would make them perfect
These Eargasm earplugs are great for smaller ears and come with both the standard and smaller fit options. They reduce loud noise well without completely removing sound, so you can still hear music, speech, and environment clearly but at a much safer level. They are excellent for concerts, festivals, clubs, motorcycles, and sporting events. The only thing I wish they had was a middle level filter option. The current reduction is sometimes a bit too strong in situations like watching a show from the back of the venue or lower volume environments where you just want mild reduction rather than deep dampening. The build quality is great and the included case is durable and convenient for travel and pocket carry. Overall, these are extremely effective high fidelity earplugs and well worth using, especially if you have smaller ear canals, with only the desire for one more filter level to make them fully perfect.

Solid bud overall
Solid ear protection with a few minor quirks! These Eargasm Smaller Ears noise-reducing earplugs deliver reliable sound reduction and a comfortable fit for small ear canals perfect for concerts or loud environments. Great build quality and reusable design. Slightly pricey, but worth it.

Work well at concerts!
My wife and I went to a Papa Roach / Shinedown concert and tried these for the first time. We each got the Smaller Ear set, because our ear holes tend to be a little on the narrower side (but not tiny). I was a little worried they’d be too small, but they fit great! Cuz the sound / distortion back, it was really enjoyable to be able to leave the concert without having my ears ringing. I know the ads kinda make it sound like “you can’t even tell you’re wearing them, it just makes everything a little quieter”, which is mostly true, though it does cut a fair amount of the higher frequency / noise distortion so you get less of the “full range” of sound, BUT everything still sounded really good, the music was quite enjoyable and we had a blast. They’re very comfortable, I forgot I was even wearing them a few minutes into rocking out. The carrying case is small, and I do wish they would do something about the screw-on cap to prevent accidentally cross-threading, because when you’re in a dimly lit concert environment, it’s not like you can look closely at the threads / cap to make sure you’re threading it right. So then I’m doing it entirely by feel and because the case is aluminum, the metal is soft enough it feels like it wants to try to cross-thread and it’s harder to get the cap to “seat” into the beginning thread. But this is a relatively minor inconvenience, at least likely for most people. All in all, if you’re young and concerned about preserving your hearing or you’re older (like us) and wanna save what you have left, these are a good investment.

These really work to lower the volume without losing the sound quality of the band
I used my new earplugs last night at an outdoor bar where my husband’s band plays — loudly! They were great at blocking the loudness and made the songs so much more enjoyable. I could wear them all night (4 hours) and still hear the people next to me when they talked. I had only one issue. I pushed one in a bit too far and had to use tweezers to remove it when I got home. It was uncomfortable pushed in too far, but not painful. Because the earplugs were so good at lowering the volume of the band, yet allowing me to clearly hear the songs, I will keep them and just make sure I insert them carefully. Foam earplugs make the band sound like they are underwater; these just lowered the volume for me. I purchased the plugs for smaller ears since I usually have problems getting foam earplugs to fit snugly. I had a hard time deciding which size would be best. In the product description, the seller needs to give more information. Are there four separate sizes? Or are the "smaller ears" earplugs that had the the filter in placein the box the same size as the smaller pair in the regular box? I was torn about which to order and now I think perhaps I should have ordered the regular box. Also, I cannot tell if the shells that came with the filters in in the smaller ears box is the larger shell or the smaller shell. I recommended the earplugs to the band members… but they seem to enjoy destroying their hearing. ;) I love supporting a small business in the USA! Overall great product!

Pros and cons... But great for sleep.
A couple of cons and some very important pluses to these ear plugs. First the cons... They do work When fully inserted in the ear. BUT they do wiggle out of your ear over time. And my ears sweat with them in. I pull them out and wipe them off and clear out the moisture from my ear before putting them back in if needed. The amount of sound blocked depends on how far they are in the ear. I have migraines regularly and they don't help to much when I need to block loud noises like a screaming 3 year old. But they are perfect for getting to sleep and blocking just the right amount of noise. Now the PLUS side.... With foam ear plugs my ears were always irritated. Painfully sore and almost raw with constant borderline infections in the lower ear. After a week of using these my ears began to heal. Within 2 weeks my ears had stopped itching. So for me the transition was worth it. It is a little annoying that they come out like they do but it is nice to know they will never get truly stuck in my ears and unlike the foam ear plugs They never reach my ear drums to there it's no irritation... Hopefully this helps you make a decision. Have a great day.

So happy I can have fun and not worry about further hearing loss!
These were exactly what I was looking for. I have pretty mild tinnitus, and I don't want to make it worse if I can help it. I've owned them for 11 months now and I've worn them out a number of times now and they've been great! For me, they hit a good balance where I don't get the post live music event ear ringing that I usually get, but I can also still hear my friends when they speak directly to my ear (which is usually necessary in places with loud music anyway). I have small ear canals and I'm always picking the smallest adapter on earbuds, so I went with the Eargasm earplugs for small ears, and they fit well! I also like the carrying case. The earplugs are so small I could definitely lose one if not for the case. The case fits well in my purses that I wear going out, so it's not an inconvenience to bring them with me. I also like that they're discreet when they're in my ears. To my knowledge, no one has ever noticed them when I've worn them (I got the transparent earplugs with the transparent core). A small anecdote about my experience with them: once when me and my friends left a bar, they all said their ears felt like they had cotton balls in them, but I felt perfectly fine! Every time I wear these out, I'm so grateful I brought them!

WORTH EVERY CENT
Worth the price! I’ve worn it to several concerts—Stray Kids concerts, so LOUD. And I was able to use my ears afterwards. I got the small, and they fit great. I have small ear holes (?) and every other brand is way too big. The Apple EarPods pro are too big for my ears if that helps in understanding size? Seriously a worthy investment. I keep them attached to my keys in the heavy duty case provided. I seriously love it. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a bit pricey but your hearing is worth it.

Non utili per concerto copertura molto bassa
Soldi buttati ...

These WORK and they are comfortable.
We go to concerts a lot. The orange foam earplugs always hurt my ears and of course they dull the sound. As my ears hurt with regular ear plugs I ordered these smaller eargasms. I tried out both sizes of the plugs included and the smallest ones felt the most comfortable. We went to a 4 day metal and rock festival in California (Aftershock) and these earplugs were amazing. I wore them all day - up to 12 hours - and they were comfortable. The orange earplugs bother me after 2 hours. I could hear the bands super well and was a bit nervous the first day wondering if the Eargasms were working. I had no ringing in the ears and we were up close to the pit for a few bands. I had no problem talking to my spouse or vendors to buy food/drink. These ear plugs are the best for concerts. They would not dull sound enough to sleep in. But if I was in a large crowd that was loud and made me feel slightly anxious, they might help that.

Comfortable and Effective Hearing Protection
I purchased the Eargasm Smaller Ears Earplugs for my wife, who has smaller ear canals and often struggles to find comfortable earplugs that fit well. She has been using them regularly and is thoroughly impressed. Pros: Perfect Fit for Smaller Ears: The earplugs come with multiple sizes of soft silicone tips, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit for those with smaller ear canals. High-Fidelity Sound Quality: Unlike foam earplugs that muffle sounds, these earplugs reduce noise levels evenly, allowing for clear hearing while protecting against harmful noise. Durable and Portable: The earplugs are made from high-quality materials and come with a compact carrying case, making them easy to store and carry around. Cons: Initial Insertion: It may take a little practice to insert them correctly for optimal comfort and noise reduction. Final Thoughts: My wife now uses these earplugs every time we ride out. They've made a noticeable difference in her comfort and hearing protection. Highly recommended for anyone seeking effective and comfortable earplugs.
