Nice Inexpensive Guitar for New Guitar Players
Good quality, inexpensive. It has a starter kit, that allows the beginner to tune the guitar, guitar strap, a couple of picks. Perfect for individuals learning to play the guitar.

Not just for kids! Absolutely love it.
Absolutely love this guitar! It is not only for kids. I am 55 and intermediate guitar player and find this guitar to be excellent quality, amazing sound, effortless, enjoyable play. I also take it on trips as it is smaller and easy to travel with.

Great value for the price
Im an older beginner and love this guitar. The body is lighter in weight that I thought it would be but it has a nice tone and played well right out of the box for me. The neck was good and no adjustment needed. Others have complained about the strings but they are OK for me. They will need to be retuned several times before they settle in and quit stretching. The neck seems heavy compared to the body and it wants to pull downward so keep an eye on that. I dont like the shape of the stick-on pickguard and wont use it. I may look for another style online at some point. The case is ok just for general protection and the tuner works pretty good too. Remember, all of this is basically beginner material so dont expect professional gear. I only play at home so it's all good. Last I checked, this guitar was out of stock so this review may be pointless anyway. Happy strummin'!Update: added a Gibson Songwriter style pickguard.Update 2: I had to remove a star because the bridge has lifted just a slight amount on the back. I've been keeping an eye on it but it hasn't gotten any worse.Update 3: I had to completely remove and reglue the bridge to keep it from coming apart on its own. I also put on a lighter set of Martin silk and steel strings to reduce the tension. Still for the price it plays easily and sounds good.

Price and quality
This guitar is everything it says it is. Great quality for the price and the sound is amazing. Good action on the fret board and did I mention the sound is pretty awesome. But just like any new guitar you have to tune it until the strings get broke in. So if you're thinking about a guitar to learn on or even a long term guitar don't hesitate but this one not for just the price but because it's decent quality.

Well built guitar for not a lot of money.
The media could not be loaded. I was looking at a replacement guitar for my Aria acoustic, as the bridge has started lifting on it. Happened to see this one on Amazon, and I liked the shape, so I decided to try it out. Turns out it is a pretty good guitar, and dare I say better than my Aria.Pros:Top seems to be solid spruce instead of laminate.Included gig bag is pretty good, with good padding and a nice zipper. Don't underestimate zippers! I have seen my fair share of decent gig bags ruined by a crappy zipper.Build quality is excellent, and I can find no flaws either inside or outside. The matte finish is well done, with no roughness that I can feel.Action is spot on. Any lower, and you would get buzz.Frets are smooth with no sharp ends.Cons:If I had to nitpick, I am not a fan of the silk screened logo on the headstock. I much prefer engraved logos, but that's just a personal thing.Final Thoughts:This is a good acoustic for the money, and would make an excellent beginner guitar. It comes with everything you need, extra strings, gig bag, tuner, and picks, to get started playing. Oh, and the sound is great as well! thumbs up!

EXCELLENT entry-level (or higher) budget acoustic!
This little guitar is fantastic. It is thin and feels small, but it has a MUCH bigger and brighter sound than I expected. It has a really nice ring to it and it reverberates well. I thought it might have a real dead sound to it, but it was surprisingly fantastic. It's not trying to compete with a Martin or Alvarez, but if you're considering an Epiphone, Squier, or maybe even an Alvarez, Ibanez, or Fender - consider this Donner instead. I will say the "feel" is a bit different - like the fretboard doesn't be that standard feel (probably just needs a little oil), but it looks incredible. The top and back of the guitar fell pretty thin, but you shouldn't be throwing your guitar around anyway. Overall, it's pretty great, sounds great, and the price is right - so I recommend it. It's very well packaged, the gig bag is NICE - especially with er included back pack straps, and it has all the accessories you need - extra strings, tuner (which works REALLY well), and a nice capo and picks, among others. It also has an optional pick guard if you want to put it on. Seriously, get this. The value is all there and then some.

Strings too close together for adults
I wanted to try a smaller guitar that might be more comfortable to hold. After reading all the available information I decided on the Donner 3/4 size parlor guitar. I am happy to say that it checked all the boxes. Comfortable, flawless matte black finish and solidly built. After tuning it (love the digital tuner) I was very pleased with its crisp, clear sound. Alas, it has one fatal flaw. The neck is very narrow and the strings are too close together. Try as I may I could not play without one of my fingers touching two strings, and I am of average size with average hands. Although it is described as being for adults, I don't think it is, unless you are a petite lady with very small hands. So I am returning it and ordering a standard size guitar in its place. I'm a little disappointed but we live and learn. BTW, if you want this for a child, I think it would be a great guitar for a youngster.
