A KITCHEN STAPLE AND A MUST-HAVE
The Spice Way Pickling Spice is excellent for making a right and proper corned beef dinner. The seasoning packet that comes with most corned beef is trifling and barely flavors the meat, let alone the vegetables. Using this spice makes a huge difference—add about a third of the bottle to the pot with the vegetables, and the result is a real masterpiece. The corned beef and vegetables come out rich, aromatic, and deeply seasoned, making it a filling meal with a taste so good everyone goes back for more.

Nice selection of spices for pickling
I like to make my own pickles from scratch in my old Tupperware pickle container for the refrigerator, I put some of this, dill, salt water and venegar, and a couple of days later I have pickles. Once ready I can taste the spices in the mixture, relatively well balanced.

Spices are not only for pickling
I bought this spice packet for corned beef. It worked perfectly. It would have cost three times as much to purchase all the spices separately making it a great value. I used a slow cooker. While the it was cooking the aroma was amazing. The spices are designed for pickling however they turned out to work great for corned beef. I only needed half the packet so there is enough left over for a second batch.

Great job and made great tasting corned beef
Works great for seaonsonf my first attempt and corned beef. I was nervous about trying this as I was a novice at making corned beef but this packet took all my fears away. I'd buy agsin. Ext holiday season

Worked great
This is an awesome spice pack. I purchased it in January 2025 and the best by date is 9/30/2026. These are not ground spices so if that is what you need this is not it. I used one 4 ounce pack for corned beef. When it way done I brushed off all the spice pieces that hadn't broke down. It had a great flavor (but I also add my own spices too)

Great Spice
After several local trips looking for spices for a corned beef …. This hits the jackpot! I will use again on a roast. Great spice, quick delivery, aroma wonderful. Win-win! I did put in a jar as I feel it will stay fresher that way.
