I wear these as a bathing suit most of the time but they are great shorts for fishing. They dry fast and are very light weight and comfortable. I have been wearing these for man years now and have about 8 different colors.

Perfect for wear in rain or water
I purchased a pair of these shorts for working outside, as it has been raining quite frequently lately. The shorts dry quickly and are of good quality. Note that the 8" inseam fits more like a 10" inseam and is similar to my "preppy" length shorts from other manufacturers.

Wide at the bottom
I bought the 8inch version and these are very wide at the bottom. if you have thicker legs you might like these but for normal legs it was like wearing a flouncy skirt.
