Works great
Super sharp. I love this knife and use it all the time in the kitchen! Love that it comes with a cover too! Iโve had it for a few years now and still looks new! You can cut through almost anything with it. Great price great quality. Holds nice in the hand, not too big. Has good balance. Iโm so glad I found this knife!

Decent knife for the price
Bought one for my suchi chef trainee and it is well balanced knife for the money you pay. I did have to sharpen it once a week and take a good care of it to preserve the quality of the sharpness

Love this knife!!
This knife if the best knife I own!! It is neither too light nor too heavy. I've been having issues with tendon weakness in my hands (I'm sixty-something ๐) and my grip is affected also. I'm worried that a knife will slip out of my hand or I'll lose my grip while cutting, which has been happening to me lately. This knife allows me to have control and because its very sharp (VERY sharp so ne careful!) it doesn't take alot of hand strength to cut through meats and vegetables. The handle is not at all slippery, feels very secure in my hand. I would highly recommend this knife!!

Nice and thin, sharp - wood handle is very nice
Haven't tried sharpening it yet - but it seems to stay sharp for quite a while, and the thickness of the blade makes it great for veggies. I love the wooden handle, and it's very comfortable to hold.

This blade is dull no matter how much you sharpen it.
I have purchased about 5 knives from this company and they were all amazing and sharp. This one is the dullest knife I have ever owned. I have commercial blade sharpening equipment and have to sharpen this about every use. It couldn't even cut a stalk of asparagus or a chicken breast. My $10 kitchen aid knife from Target is sharper and better than this. All the other knives from KYOKU I have purchased have been stellar, this one just isn't up to the same standard or quality as their other knives.
