WORKS, WORKS, AND WORKS to clean your dishes in dishwasher. I find since using the pods you do need 2 pods for the normal to heavy loads, and only a light load needs 1 pod per load cycle. Great, non-toxic dishwasher tabs! They actually do a decent job. They clean egg residue pretty well, but chocolate residue on plates, and greasy pans used for meats don’t come out super clean. Regular food mess gets removed effortlessly for the most part though. The description says that the tabs work better when you don’t rinse, but I beg to differ. I’ve done a fair amount of testing, and these tabs hold up really well against conventional dishwasher tabs, but my dishes don’t come out cleaner if I don’t rinse. Think of it as being optional though. I’d buy again.

These pods seem to work very well in my dishwasher, unlike the more popular brands which tended to clog up my kitchen drainage pipes with partially melted (plastic?) containers of the detergent particles. Part of my problem was the poor construction of the house copper water pipes which were not insulated, and as a consequence the first many seconds of water flow to the dishwasher was quite cold, and did not thoroughly melt the plastic constainers. Over time that residue built up in the pipes and caused a blockage. I solved that problem by running the hot water tap into the kitchen sink for several minutes before starting the dishwasher.
