Really improves the signal
This has worked great for my caravan where I could only get an intermittent signal on phones hot-spot. I used it with TP-Link Archer MR200 AC750 Dual Band 4G LTE SIM Wi-Fi Router which was the only router I could get at short notice. However it all works superb. Signal to all our phones and smart TV with no loss. Highly recommend especially at such a good price. Oh I only hung it out the window too as didnt want to damage caravan.

Better than a Puck aerial
Easy to fit, Good gain; works well in the Lake District on 4G in low-signal areas. Better than the Puck style aerials But the seal to the roof is minimal, just an O-ring. I used silicon sealer as well.

Made a massive difference!
Live only a couple or so miles from a town but have no phone or broadband for internet. So much for the government drive to give high speed internet to all? So use a MiFi router. Trouble is the signal is terrible inside my home. Tried a couple of other internal and external antenna but they did not improve things. This one has made a massive difference! Went from 1 or 2 meg, to 20+, sometimes 30+ meg! The signal strength on the router can drop and fluctuate but the actual speed seems to remain high. Can't believe I have finally got some reasonable internet speeds after months of trying. Would recommend you use an app to find the best position for signal strength as even a change in position of and inch or so can make a big difference to your speeds. This was true for me regardless of the antenna used. Disclaimer: I was not offered and have not received any incentive for purchasing and reviewing this product. This review is a genuine statement of my experience with using this antenna.

Worse than stock antenna but still OK
Using EE, this antenna actually performs slightly worse than the stock internal antenna on my TP-Link MR600: RSRP of -91dBm vs - 86dBm. However, for applications where you can't place the router in a good signal location, this will still make an improvement as you can mount the antenna in the best location. For the price, I still think it's a good buy. You'd have to spend much more for better performance...

Reduces signal strength rather than boosting!
It's advertised as a 2x2 MIMO 4G LTE antenna with 5dBi gain suitable for EE network. I'm using it with a BT/EE Hybrid Connect 4G LTE modem (it's a backup for the fibre modem in case it goes down). This antenna provides significantly worse performance than the modem's internal aerials do. I did several tests using both modem alone and modem with aerial in 3 different positions. Inside on a shelf where the modem needs to be, I get -110 dBm without aerial and -110 dBm with aerial (the same). Outside on a table I get -100 dBm without aerial and -102 dBm with aerial (a 2 dBm reduction). On the wall where I want to locate it, I get -104 dBm without aerial, and -106 dBm with the aerial, also 2 dBm worse. It could still help me in that I can't put the modem outside, so I do get an impovement by having the aerial outside, but it's performance leaves a lot to be desired. I'm still deciding whether to return it in the hopes that buying a more expensive antenna will give me better performance, I just don't know yet, but I thought I'd write this review in case it helps others to decide.

It works
I'm not an especially techie person, but I get a metal camper van is a giant Faraday cage for 4G signal. So I tried my 12v EE modem with this aerial fixed to a strong magnet on the side of my Ducato camper. Download speed in my rural garden with pretty poor reception was 23mbps, upload, an impressive 10 Mbps. That was plenty to watch BBC iPlayer on my van's smart TV. I then brought the aerial into the van, by a window, and the rates halved to 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps upload. I then used my phone inside the van and it was 7mbps upload and 3mbps download. So, this little aerial doubled my upload and download speeds when it was attached to the outside of my van. My phone, outside will get a 20mbps download and about 5mbps upload, so the aerial doesn't miraculously turn a poor data speed into a blistering speed but it hugely improved my modem. EE is, in my experience, the best network frequency for data reception and this is due to it being on a longer wavelength than its competitor networks, which is a pity as EE is so expensive for data. In conclusion, well worth the price. I'm not fixing the aerial permanently. I'm using a North Core wetsuit magnet to fix the aerial to the van when I need it. I did need to drill a 4mm hole in the middle of the steel plate and I do wish the aerial leads were twin core rather than 2 separate wires. The North Core wetsuit magnet fixing is plenty strong enough to drive with. It's 2 twist on coaxial fittings and fix the aerial. If you have two opposable thumbs you can fit it.

Works for me
I’m sure it’s not the best antenna doesn’t seem well sealed, but with it installed and connected to a cheap 4g router the speeds go up for me if only from 8mbps to 14mbps. With the arial able to be placed outside and higher than the router is on a windowsill in the built up environment I’m in it makes my backup connection more usable.

Molto bene
Ho un modem 4g mi Huawei montanto in un scatola esterna con le due piccole antenne...ho sostituito le piccole antenne con questa,la velocità è raddoppiata e oltre, molto bene non pensavo.🤓🤓

Hardly improves the reception.
The cable is not an antenna cable, just a normal cable, so this probably interferes with the quality of the signal.
