PERFECT FIT for the 2022 Ford Explorer!!
Since an independent company made a different center console organizer for the 2022 Ford Explorer I know I'm not the only one who's irritated/disappointed with the one that came in the car! You'd THINK paying over $47,000 on a new car they'd put a remotely decent console organizer in the thing.. Nope! The one that comes in the car seems like an after thought. As soon as I got this in the mail I put it in the car and it's a 100% improvement over the flimsy thing Ford decided to use. I'm VERY SATISFIED with this product and would recommend it to anyone who HATES the stupid little tray that came in the car originally!

Now I get why Ford built it that way.
At first I thought this was a great idea, but after installing it I now understand why Ford left that front section clear in the tray. If you look under the armrest there is a raised section that fits down in that front area. Now if you put anything in this new tray that is more than a a half inch high the raised piece in the armrest pushes the tray down. I use that front section to put some cards in and you can see in the pictures that the tree is pushed down because they get in the way of closing the armrest.

Slightly too small and it will not stay in place
I had a gray from the same company for my 2018 explorer and it was great. This gray is slightly cut too small and it will not stay in place. The lip needs to be wider to rest on the edges. Hope they make a redesign!
