Does not look like the picture at all
So I wanted a black wood pattern, this is not even close. It looks more of a pixelated black and gray lines. I thought it would look better after I apply it but it is not what they are advertising

Looks amazing and a great alternative to painting I used this Black Wood Peel and Stick Wallpaper on my kitchen cabinets instead of painting them and I’m honestly so impressed with how it turned out. It was easy to apply, sticks well, and gives a clean, modern look. It completely transformed the cabinets without all the mess and time that comes with painting. The finish looks really nice and doesn’t look cheap like some peel-and-stick products. It also seems durable and has held up well so far. If you’re looking for an affordable and simple way to upgrade your cabinets or space, this is definitely worth it.

Great for certain projects.
I bought this to cover damaged backerboard on a second-hand desk so it would look almost new again. It was not easy to put up horizontally, on my assembled desk. The process took me about an hour to get right. It doe adhere very well and smooths out beautifully. It will damage paperboard in removal so I suggest not using it on actual walls or cabinets that have a layer of paper over particle board. The color is black and it has a beautiful wood grain texture to the material. You cannot see through this material and it functions as intended.

Stickier than you may want, really nice and thick vinyl. Very pleased.
I REALLY liked this. I got it to go over a wall that had 1970's wood paneling and I thought I would see all the lines from the paneling and I did not. The pattern is beautiful, it was easy to reposition to get it right, and I am very pleased with the thickness and the look. That being said, I lost about 8" on either side of the roll of vinyl because of the tape they used to keep the roll together. The tape did not remove and there was residue left. I bought five rolls and this was the same on each roll. Also, when I needed to reposition, it took off most of the coloring on the wood paneling I had, making me think if I had put it over paint it would absolutely have removed the paint from the wall. This wasn't very stretchable, but the bubbles were easy to remove with repositioning before securely sticking it down. I was pleased with the price, and am excited to see how the quality holds up and durability down the road.

Great Look and Easy to Apply
I was a little skeptical as to how this would match the back wall of a black oak cheap book case I bought at Walmart ($35). The bookcase looked fine except for the inside back wall which was just a matte black piece of thick paper which I thought was not strong enough or nice looking enough (yes I should have bought a nicer model). I bought a piece of Masonite for $12 (Home Depot will cut it to size for you), and covered it with this black oak laminate - which was easy to do. No bubbles and it matches the rest of the case perfectly. I then nailed the covered Masonite to the back of the book case. The Masonite adds a lot to strength to the finished assembly and I don’t have to worry about things pushing out the back wall. This stuff was easy to work with and very much looks like real black oak.
