Some of the other reviews say things I do not agree with such as taking the phone case off to use it, which I do not need to do. It stays on the dash extremely well because the clip is very strong and all I need to do once in a while is tighten up the round piece in the back, which is very easy. I have tried a lot of phone mounts for my car and this is the only one that works well, it does not fall off in the heat of summer, it is easy to place in an area that is safe to see and does not effect my vision. I have even had friends and family ask where I purchased it.

Excellent dash cam. Got the VIOFO A119 V3 It’s a rugged unit. And once you set it up, it runs automatically whenever the ignition is turned on. Its easy to install and easy to tuck the power wire out of sight. The small size makes it discreet and hard to spot from the outside. I do not use the parking lot feature so i cannot comment about it. I set the camera for 5 min (each video) on continuous loop. It records each video with time stamp, date, and real time MPH, monitored by the attached GPS. video quality is a B+ and also has night vision. However their instruction manual would get only 2 stars from me. It assumes you already know alot about dash cams. I had to rely on their website help videos to fully understand how to set up and run the camera. I recommend checking these out. (Youtube also has help videos on the various camera models). Bear in mind you will need to spend another $45 for a micro SD card (not included). A good quality card is essential so don’t skimp. That said i bought 2 more cameras for my other cars. They all work great. I do hope they ladt a long time …we will see 😏

I finally found a phone holder that works in our car. This one clips to the dashboard, just above the speedometer. It has a spring-loaded, adjustable clamp for your phone that allows you to view the phone in both portrait and landscape positions. I took away one star because the rubber gripper pad is starting to slip off of the plastic clamp, probably due to the heating up of the dashboard in the summer. Other than that, I could not be happier with how this works for me.

Its garbage. It melted to my dash and now my dash has a large black slick spot that wont clean off nomatter what i do. What i should do is get my dash replaced and send them the bill.

Really worked good until the heat got to the sticky back and sorta melted it ☹️. Needs to come with 2nd sticky pad to replace it. Reasonably priced so I’d still probably buy it again.

Grip strength is awesome. Holds phone in place without worry. Very versatile. Fits perfect for functionality. Installation is easy.

I purchased this for my wife's car around 8 months ago. She travels a lot and she uses her phone for navigation. This held the phone at the perfect height near the dash. It slides on very easy with enough tension to keep it in place. I decided to take it off the dash to detail her interior and the soft pad that comes in contact and protects the dash had somewhat melted/deformed and when I went to reinstall it, it would not stay on the dash. I contacted the company to see if I could purchase a new soft pad for it, and next thing I know they had sent me a complete replacement. Outstanding and quick communication response and product delivery. I recommend this business highly!
