The majority of recipes require 1 egg, 2 TBS super fine sugar, 4-5 TBS of flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and about 1 oz of various chocolates, plus lovely add-ins like raspberry jam, caramel sauce, marshmallow, etc. I'm very pleased with this book! I purchased this as an early fun stocking-filler for a chocaholic family. For my part, it is a well-made and sturdy book, full of interesting and well laid-out recipes, which I think, and hope, the aforementioned will appreciate. If they find it wanting, I will provide additional feedback and I would hope, some personal feedback - assuming I am treated to my very own cake/s!
