Overweight and Sterilised Low Fat Complete Dry Dog Food for Adult Dogs with Chicken 12 kg

My dogs love this food and with the low calorie and glucosamine as well it has the same benefits as the Hills version at half the price…plus the Hills brand smells horrible and my dogs didn’t like it.

Being french bulldog owner our little girlie loves her food, she has been consistently putting on a bit of timber recently so we thought we had best take some action, she hadn’t previously been on sterilised food but after reading about it we thought we would give it go, well she lost 300grammes this week- we are chuffed, being a better quality food she doesn’t need as much, she stays fuller for longer and we seems to really love it, Frenchie owners will know our trauma of the bottom gas…. This has also slowed down ….. not expressing as much which is fab for us, her tummy obviously agrees to the new food.

I received this Eukanuba Overweight & Sterilised low fat dry dog food and have been testing it with my adult dog over several weeks. The kibble size is good for everyday eating, and my dog seems to enjoy the taste — he eats it eagerly at mealtimes, which always helps when switching to a special diet. Great food for dogs who need to loose a few pounds.

Like many we thought we were doing right by feeding Milo high protein kibble plus raw food, with occasional treats, plus good walks but a visit to the vet and him weighing almost 13kg in September told us otherwise. The vet recommended Hills Science Plan which is almost double the price, so we tried that but soon switched. 3 months later and our boy has lost 2kg and eats double the amount of kibble, so feels fuller. The food guide is accurate and clear, he enjoys it, it doesn't smell or dye your hands like others (Hills). He's much happier and more spritely, and has his "tuck" back. 100% recommend this food. When he's at 10kg I might move him onto weight control or simply keep him on this but up the portion to the "maintenance" quantity. Can't fault it!

Eukanuba is a very well known brand . They well deserved their reputation . My 8 years old black Lab hit 42 kg. 2 months after I used this product . He is now 34 and healthy. Even Vet asked me about feeding, he was very impressed. Thanks Amazon and Eukabuna. .

Dopo aver provato diverse marche e diversi tipi di crocchette, posso dire che queste Eukanuba sono state una vera svolta per il mio cane. Me le ha consigliate il mio veterinario perché aveva bisogno di perdere un po’ di peso e di seguire un’alimentazione più adatta alle sue esigenze. Il mio cane è grande, molto peloso e, nonostante sia ancora giovane, il peso cominciava a pesare anche sulla sua mobilità e sulle articolazioni. Con le normali crocchette facevo molta più fatica a gestire le quantità e soprattutto non avevo la sensazione di avere un alimento realmente pensato per il suo problema. Rispetto ad altri prodotti che abbiamo provato, queste mi sembrano molto più mirate: hanno un apporto calorico controllato e una formulazione pensata per aiutare a mantenere la massa muscolare durante la gestione del peso. Mi piace inoltre che contengano nutrienti utili anche per il benessere delle articolazioni, cosa che per un cane grande considero particolarmente importante. La cosa che mi ha convinta di più, però, è che le mangia volentieri. Con alcune crocchette “dietetiche” che avevamo provato in passato dovevo praticamente convincerlo a mangiare, mentre con queste non abbiamo avuto lo stesso problema. Il mio cane è già migliorato tantissimo a distanza di qualche mese , ha perso un bel po’ di peso. Eukanuba non è sicuramente tra i marchi più economici: a confronto con altre crocchette il prezzo si sente, ma dopo averne provate diverse preferisco spendere qualcosa in più per un prodotto che mi è stato consigliato dal veterinario, che il mio cane mangia volentieri e con cui mi sto trovando bene. Per noi non sono state semplicemente “altre crocchette”: sono state il punto di partenza per rimettere ordine nella sua alimentazione e gestire meglio il peso. Ovviamente il percorso va fatto insieme al veterinario e alle giuste quantità, ma personalmente sono davvero contenta di averle provate. Le ricomprerò sicuramente. 🐾❤️
