Works perfectly with my sump pumps to monitor the water level
I'm a little paranoid when it comes to our sump pump, since we had an episode of basement flooding many years ago when our sump pump failed. I now have three separate sump pumps inside our basement sump well. One is the primary sump pump, with its built-in vertical float switch that cycles on and off when the water gets deep enough. I then have a secondary backup sump pump that is controlled by a separate vertical float switch, mounted so that this pump will only activate if my primary pump fails to keep the water level below its prescribed range. I also have a third sump pump that runs off a 12 volt battery. This is mounted towards the top of my sump well and will not activate unless the water level gets quite high (as would happen in a power outage). This is my pump of last resort. My problem was I did not have an easy way to monitor whether my primary sump pump was working normally. I needed a way to tell if the water level goes above where it normally cycles via the primary pump. This Level Sense Float Switch works perfectly for this application. I was easily able to mount it to one of my riser PVC pipes using the included zip ties. I placed it so that it is slightly above the highest water level allowed by my primary sump pump. That way, the Float Switch is never tripped unless my primary sump pump stops working. I have the Float Switch hooked up to a remote water leak sensor (YoLInk Water Leak Sensor 3 - which also I highly recommend). Now I can receive email and push notifications on my phone, as well as an audible alert whenever my primary sump pump stops working. I feel more secure.

After trying others, this one is most reliable
I use two of these, in separate locations, to maintain the water level in a koi pond. For context, one has monitored the level at the pond itself, and the second is in the pump pit which cycles a couple times per minute. I'm back to buy replacements because after 5 years in constant service, the one in the pit is now intermittent. But I felt compelled to write a positive review because these have worked reliably for so long.

Works like a charm
I plugged this into a YOLINK Water Leak Sensor 3 by wiring it into a standard 3.5mm headphone plug. The switch activates the alarm right away each time. I have installed this inside my sump well to alert me if my pump fails causing the water level to rise above the primary pump's float. Longevity is yet to be seen, and I will update this review if it fails when I actually need it.

Melted on 3rd test and stuck open
I planned to use this as a switch for the back up 12v sump pump for my house. Was small and compact and easy to setup. While getting the height of it set on the 3rd test run it melted and distorted the plastic housing making the float stick in the up and On position. Maybe it was just a defective unit but they refunded me no questions asked. But I spent an extra $2 and got a reputable marine float switch instead and it has no issues

Reliable Performance
This float level sense is being used to monitor water level in a sump. It is positioned between a primary and secondary pump and connected to an Insteon I/O Linc. If the primary pump stops functioning and the secondary runs, an alert is sent via the Insteon app with an alert. I’ve made a few of these devices for friends and during a recent rainstorm, one of the homeowners primary pumps pump float sensor was stuck resulting in the water rising until the secondary activated. The higher water level triggered this float connected to the Insteon I/O Linc sending the homeowner an alert to check the pump. This float performed its function as intended.

Used for back up Sump pump wayne esp25
Used to replace old float switch of wayne back up sump pump esp25. Had to buy connector pins separately. Seems to be working.
