Beautiful. And makes it possible to hold my phone comfortably!
First of all, I don't know how anyone operates a smartphone without a PopSocket. My mental health declines rapidly during those first few days when I get a new phone and don't yet have a new PopSocket to go along with it. If you know, you know. (And if you're still considering whether or not to get your first PopSocket, run don't walk to the check out - you will be forever changed). I ran into a big problem when I switched from an iPhone XR to the iPhone 13, when I could not find a comfortable *and* very sturdy case that also allowed for the sticky kind of PopSocket I was familiar with, (I hadn't learned of these MagSafe ones yet). There were issues with every iPhone 13 case I researched. Not to mention, most were not also MagSafe compatible. Fast forward to me finally finding this MagSafe PopSocket, and my life is complete. I have it paired with an "Incipio - Grip for MagSafe" case, which is beautiful and durable (I drop my phone a lot), and I highly recommend the pairing! The only caveat on this PopSocket is that if you drop your phone, it will likely detach. Thus far, I have not found that to be a huge problem. I just pop it right back on. But I can imagine a scenario where you drop it next to a street grate, and you sadly wave bye-bye to your PopSocket. But I find it's a risk worth taking. In terms of normal daily use, it has never otherwise come off. The magnet feels very strong and secure. It probably leads to me using my phone more than I should, because it makes holding my phone just so darn comfortable. Oh, and yes, it works great as a stand, too!

TLDR: Good MagSafe PopSocket - long read for details
TLDR: Good MagSafe PopSocket - long read for details I was afraid the magnet on this MagSafe PopSocket would not be strong enough to work. I previously bought 2 different MagSafe PopSocket adapters that barely worked. My rational was I already had a sticky PopSocket, and this one was so expensive. I figured I would just buy an adapter, and I’d be good. Nope The first adapter was a round disk that you attached your PopSocket to and it magnetically attached it to the MagSafe. The PopSocket stuck to the adapter fine. The adapter very weakly connected to the iPhone case. So weakly that if I moved wrong it would disconnect. It was so bad it was pretty much unusable. I thought the round adapter wasn’t connecting enough, so I returned it and got a oval adapter like the base of this one. Once the sticky PopSocket was attached, it basically looked like this one. I wasn’t as confident this time, but I tried it anyway. It worked better than the round one, but it still was not very magnetically strong, and the bottom half kept coming discontinued and swinging around and getting in the way. Basically, it didn’t work. I returned it and used my last sticky pad to attach the PopSocket to my MagSafe case , completely ruining the wireless charging that I was looking forward to. I had a stroke, so my nerves are shot and I can’t hold an iPhone without a PopSocket of some sort. I went back to plugging it in, but the wireless charging thing kept bugging me. So, as a last shot tried a black MagSafe PopSocket. $30 later, I had the item. It looked like the second adapter I used, but I figured I’d see if the magnetic connection was better. OMG it worked! I still think it’s too expensive, but it actually stays on unless you pull it apart. Nothing like the weak connection between with the adapters. It stays and doesn’t move. I’m sorry but ever tried the adapters. It was a waste of time and money and set me up having to choose a cheaper option that didn’t work. ***** oh, for all those that say this PopSocket is a weak connection. There is a difference between a regular iPhone case and a MagSafe case. A regular case lets very little magnetic force through. You need a MagSafe case with an extra magnet in the case. A regular case will sometimes work with wireless charging, but barely. I’ll bet the people that say this magnet is weak have a regular case. With a MagSafe case it works great!! Even with the MagSafe case, the adapters barely worked. I think the big difference is that the official PopSocket has magnets in the base. The adapters may look the same, but they don’t have magnets. They are just a piece of painted metal that the MagSafe case grabs onto. **** see video

The PopTop (the expandable disc) is crafted from high-quality plastic that feels sturdy and scratch-resistant. The base, which connects to the phone via MagSafe, is made from a durable plastic, ensuring a secure and long-lasting connection to your iPhone. MagSafe Adhesion: A Game Changer (10/10): This is where the magic happens. The MagSafe integration on this PopSocket is phenomenal. Enhanced Grip and Unparalleled Comfort (9/10): Let's talk about the core functionality of a PopSocket: the grip! This PopSocket delivers on its promise, providing a comfortable and secure hold on your phone. The expandable PopTop gives your fingers a stable resting place, preventing accidental drops and making one-handed use a breeze. This is a minor point, and overall, the PopSocket delivers exceptional comfort and grip. A Touch of Class at a Fair Price (9/10): PopSockets typically come with a mid-range price tag, and this MagSafe version falls right in line. While there are cheaper phone grips on the market, none offer the seamless MagSafe integration and the top-notch build quality of this PopSocket. Considering the exceptional design, functionality, and durability, the price feels fair. The Perfect Blend of Style and Functionality (9.75/10): In conclusion, the Gold and White Marble MagSafe PopSocket is a triumph of both aesthetics and practicality. It elevates your phone's style with its luxurious design, while the MagSafe integration and superb build quality provide unmatched functionality and convenience. The secure grip and comfortable hold make it a joy to use. While a slightly textured PopTop might be preferable for some users, this is a minor detail in an otherwise stellar product. If you're looking for a way to add a touch of class to your phone while enhancing its usability, this MagSafe PopSocket is an excellent choice.

Love my PopSocket
I recently purchased the PopSockets Magnet Phone Grip and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. As someone who is always on their phone, having a secure grip is essential to prevent any accidental drops. This product not only provides a strong and reliable grip, but it also has the added bonus of being compatible with MagSafe. The magnet on this phone grip is incredibly strong, ensuring that my phone stays in place at all times. I have tried other magnetic phone grips in the past, but none have been as secure as this one. I can confidently say that I have not experienced any slips or drops since using this product. What I love most about this phone grip is its versatility. I already own two other PopSockets, but this one takes it to the next level with its compatibility with MagSafe. I can easily attach my phone to any MagSafe accessories, such as chargers or car mounts, without having to remove the grip. It has made my life so much easier and more convenient. The clear design of the grip is also a huge plus for me. It goes with any phone case and adds a subtle touch of style without being too flashy. It also allows the design of my phone case to still show through, which is a bonus. The grip itself is also very easy to handle and provides a comfortable grip for my hand. I no longer have to worry about dropping my phone while using it, even with one hand. It has made multitasking on my phone much easier and safer. Overall, I highly recommend the PopSockets Magnet Phone Grip to anyone looking for a strong and reliable phone grip. Its compatibility with MagSafe, strong magnet, and easy handling make it a must-have for any phone user. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and will be recommending it to all of my friends and family.

Great alternative to OG, but remove carefully
I love this thing because it’s far less committal than the original sticker pop socket. The design is similar to the regular bases where you can switch out the pops for whichever top you like. I like I can take it off to wirelessly charge, which is something that is eliminated with the OG and the pop cases. The base is flat and you barely feel it. It’s holds tight to the magnet and you can hold the phone by the pop. It’s super easy to use and comes off easily enough. That being said, I have one down side. I take the grip off a lot to wireless charge or just general fidgeting and it weakened the connection area to the point where it is now lifted and the pop won’t stay on. Maybe I take it off too carelessly or aggressively, but you have to have the pop up to have enough leverage to rip the grip off of the magnet. I had it for 6 months before it starting doing that so I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad sign for the quality of the product. I have owned pop sockets for a while now and I’m realizing that the durability is not great for fidgety folks like me because I’ve broken almost every one I’ve had

This sucker is not coming off
I finally upgraded to an iPhone that uses magsafe adapters and I was skeptical about the hold of these magnets. I read through all the reviews and decided to give it a try. The other thing is I made sure to buy a phone case that was also compatible with this product so it had that extra guaranteed hold. Here's the link to the one I got that works really well (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CC1HL51N?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). It snaps on easily, but taking it off does take some force and I'm kind of worried at how strong the magnets are to the point I feel like I'm going to break the thing when pulling it off my phone. It is very strong and you have no fear that it'll just fall right off. I literally have to pry it off with my fingernails sometimes. I love this one so much better than the adhesive ones since it leaves no residue and it's convenient to take on and off without having to worry that the adhesive won't stick. The color is true to the photos and you can also swap the design as well which is nice. The con to this is you have to take the entire thing off to charge your phone on a wireless charger. It also does not fit the standard car dashboard phone holder, unless you take the design part of it off or you buy their adapter. I'm making do with just removing the design top and it does the job. Otherwise, it does the job and I'm happy with my purchase. They also have just a circular version which I guess came out later or I didn't see when I was buying this one. It has a much smaller base which is nice than this elongated one.

UPDATE: Works great! - is also lasting well now
6/16/23 Update: I've had this popsocket for over 2 months now. It is working wonderfully, and it is lasting well. I am no longer popping it continuously like a fidget toy, and in turn, it is in great condition and works all day long as needed. Very pleased with the product, and the response from PopSocket! 4/15/23 - Increasing my rating to 4 stars because PopSocket was pleasant, efficient and great with supporting their product. I reached out via their website (as the CS contact number listed by Amazon was incorrect). They are replacing my product and it has already been shipped to me. I will try to be a little more gentle with opening and closing the pop socket going forward. (Will update if this doesn't help.) Original Post: I've had this popsocket for almost two months, and it has worked amazingly well - but now I'm not sure it will last very long. It does adhere perfectly to my iphone 14 pro, and never comes off, even when I slide it into a tight pocket. It has never just popped off. Yet, I can remove it easily when needed. It certainly helps me navigate a larger phone with a smaller hand. However, in the past couple of days, I've noticed that a part of the plastic holding the pop socket to the magnetic plate in the phone grip has broken off (see image), and when I pull the pop part out, it seems like it's starting to separate from the base. I'll be very disappointed it it does break off. I will reach out to the company for their response, and will update.

Indispensabile
