Easy on my fingers
I bought 11 because the 12 is hurting my fingers! Now it's easy! I love Ddario xs on my Yamaha fg830!

I've used elixer polyweb custom lights on my larrive rw dread forever, but these XS light plus sound phenomenal! The amount of musical sound and harmonics I hear from the guitar with these on is definitely a step above the elixers, not putting them down it just is what it is. There is more presence and clarity with the XS, and they still feel super smooth. Definitely a good string.

Good. After 2 months of everyday use, signs of fraying or corrosion are only present on some wound strings around 2nd and 3rd fret and on G string around picking area, but the strings still sound like new. This gauge has perfect balance of tone and tension across strings.

I have been playing guitar since 1975, but certainly not any rock star. I also have been rebuilding guitars for decades and have used decent strings my entire life, but not the top of the line strings. I thought that after all this time I'd try out a set that costs a bit more, just to see if there is a big difference. I now realize that if I would have tried these strings way back, maybe I would have been a rock star after all! Lol But to be serious, I love these strings. They hold intonation much better, ring out so much "sweeter", and the guitar is always in tune.
