As it should be.
In this uber health conscious world ingredients like this seem so be slipping behind which is a shame as it adds flavours you just can not get with low fat alternatives. This is an excellent quality beef dripping that tastes how beef dripping did when I was a child (many many moons ago) and is an essential ingredient in our Sunday roast. Used for searing and sealing the beef and used for roasting spuds. Great price for 2 tubs, I shall be back for more. Highly recommended and very yummy.

**5.9/10 Not That Good! Expensive, Greasy, Bland - Cheap is Better! + it's VERY 'Crumbly'!**
I honestly have mixed-feelings about this product... If I am completely open, I actually prefer those cheap white bricks from ASDA... they seem to cook the food better and leave a more desirable 'crisp'/char. Plus, this one is very 'crumbly' regardless of temperature/solidity. Also, when I was using the cheap beef dripping, the food tasted a lot better - less 'greasy' & bland and more aromatic & juicy. Switching to an air fryer, I have found the meat + fish to be FAR worse than the 'foil-wrapped, oven-baked' method (which was good!), with only the good ol' 'frying in minimal (cheap) beef dripping' method to be the absolute best! I can say that the chips, potatoes, yorkshire puddings & pizza results to be more ideal for use with THIS particular beef dripping, but I only ate that crap to test everything - I NEVER eat that stuff! I should have purchased the original choice OR even better yet, continued to buy the cheap white bricks from ASDA!! This is rather expensive for a mediocre product - I mean, it does say that it's best for chips, yorkshire puddings, potatoes & roasting! Cheap Lard is better than this! It does have a fairly high smoking-point, and is mainly good for drier foods - if you like to eat chips and stuff... but as aforementioned, my salmon, in particular, came out rather boring when I used this.
