Disrupt (Iron Heretics MC Book 1)

Wow! This was another great addition to the Iron Heretics world. I highly recommend reading Cold Light, Discord, and Make Snow Mistake before reading this story though even though this says that this is the first in the series. It helps set up everything that happens. This is another rather dark story of romance and suspense, this time between Mace and Pax. I really cannot wait for what I hope will be Axel and Leith’s story.

I usually enjoy books by this author but the stories have a tendency to end abruptly with everything tied up with a neat little bow - meaning that details and explanations are often overlooked and the reader is left with questions. This is another of those books. I don't have much of an issue with 90% of the story, although there are some writing errors such as missing words and punctuation. However, my questions arise when a character is kidnapped in the last few chapters of the story. WHY was he taken? Why was HE taken? For what purpose? No explanation was ever given. Also, WHO was the kidnapper? There was some speculation due to a previous incident, but no evidence produced supporting the assumption as to who he was. There was no questioning of the perpetrator. He was simply disposed of. Another thing about this series is that these rough, tough, seriously malevolent bikers have no qualms about taking someone out (killing), but have hearts of gold and are loving and devoted to their partners and friends. The dichotomy is striking and difficult to find believable.

Mace is a Sergeant at Arms for the Iron Heretics MC. Pax was an escort at Spritz who liked his job but now he is a bartender at Spritz. Pax was tortured by a man that wanted information on Arden his best friend, Mace happen to go to Pax's apartment after the incident and sees the damage done and promises Pax he will find the man and delivery retribution.I loved the dynamic between Pax and Mace. Mace is protective and in tune with the more reserved Pax who is still affected by being tortured. They are so sweet and adorable together and when they physically stepped up their relationship Mace let Pax takes control which was so hot.I most definitely recommend this book!!!

I loved this first book in the Iron Heretics MC series. Mace, a former Marine and motorcycle club member meets Pax, a former escort turned bartender at a high end brothel called Spritz. They try to deny their chemistry but they begin to gravitate towards each other when Mace promises Pax he will find the person who kidnapped and tortured him. Danger lurks everywhere but somehow love finds a way. Everything I expect from a mc book although I felt a little like I came into a story that already had established characters. I didn't read the prequels so that is probably why but I was still able to enjoy this book and I'm diving right into book 2 now that I'm hooked. I highly recommend this series.

This is a dark, crime romance with triggers referencing torture, killing, and other aspects related to crime. So, you set that aside and you get a rather beautiful story of two lone souls brought together by circumstances (& criminal activity) to forge a new type of family. Though this is listed as the first book in the series, it is worth the time to read the two short prequels and an additional free novel from the author that really does enrich this story. I didn’t realize that or I may have been kinder in my reviews of those novellas!

Moving story of strength, love and claiming a loving future.  I really loved these characters and how they really treated each other with kindness, thoughtfulness and tenderness.   Writing is great and the story-line flowed.  I am so enjoying the Iron Heretics universe.  Pax and Mace are all things amazing.  They are steamy, caring, creative and fun.They took their time to come together physically. Mace is this big amazing man who will do what it takes to protect those he chooses as family.  Paz had been though torture and he grew up having no one to trust nor care for him.  Needing to learn that Mace will choose him and be there for him was a beautiful journey.  This is book one of the Iron Heretics MC series and i am so looking forward to more books!

I enjoyed this book even thought it began as a continuous story from prequels. There's action, drama, romance and danger. The characters are likable and interesting.I'd recommend this story and I will be going back to read the prequels before I continue with the rest of this series, just to get a better understanding of the events.

This was a fast paced shorter story. It says it's a standalone and that's true enough but there was definitely backstory missing. I'm going to go back and read the prequels because there were a lot of mentions of prior events that weren't detailed in this story.

I really enjoyed this book it was the first in the series with a biker club in it, I don’t really want to say much about the story. I really enjoyed the characters and how they interact with each other there is violence and quirky behaviour but will say I enjoyed so much I went back to check out the authors other books, I will be checking them out .

Pax and Mace’s story is epic! It’s a roller coaster of chaos but their love story is oh so sweet! Can’t wait fir Axel and Leith!

Holy Hanna Batman I just love me some bad ass biker boys and their boys … these stories have been awesome

Do yourself a favor and enjoy this series. It can get a little dark at times but the stories are amazing and well written.
