FriXion Clicker Erasable Pens, 0.7mm Fine Point, Black Ink

I’ll be reordering soon! These pens are great and do exactly as described. With an ever changing schedule, they are perfect for keeping my notes and appointments up-to-date in my planner. The ink can be erased immediately after writing, no need for it to dry. I purchased almost a year ago and wanted to return here to provide a review.

I bought these because a friend recommended them to me. I honestly didn’t even know erasable pens like these existed. I’m using them every day at the hospital with my patients to write down lab results and other information. Since the ink is erasable, I can easily update my notes instead of using a new sheet of paper each time. They’ve been very practical for my daily work

These pens are wonderful, and have been a god send since I found them. Before using them, my go to had been the Pilot G2, and if you haven't tried those before and want a pen that isn't erasable or more permanent since it's not temperature dependent like these, I highly recommend those. With my last 12 pack purchase of the G2s, a free frixion pen was included, so I tried it on a whim. Let me say, I was blown away. The pen doesn't glide quite as smoothly as the G2, but it's very close, and the erasability makes it well worth the difference. I've used erasable pens in the past and always hated them because they would smudge or not fully get rid of the pen mark, leaving the page messy looking when I wrote over it. That or it would just rip up the page. These pens are wonderful because they fully erase with no ink left and they do so with very little friction from the eraser so you don't damage the paper. I'd been looking for a pack of these since my first ran out of ink, but living in a college town, I guess I was late to the show and found they were sold out everywhere I looked. Thus my purchase through Amazon. My only complaint is that I wish they lasted a tad bit longer, but then again, I was exclusively using this pen for all note taking, grading, and any other thing I needed a writing utensil for, so I understand why it died when it did. Nonetheless, it's worth the price to me, and I see myself using these indefinitely. Also, the seller sent a message to me reaching out to make sure it came okay and asked if I had any issues, which I really appreciated. I'm glad I purchased from them.

It's a really good pen and the fact it's earasble is also great but i would like to point out a few things like for me personally it was a little hard to open the pen to be able to refill the ink and when the ink gets low it tends to not write as well like it kinda skips around at time but that more till the end of the pen ink

No Smudging: I’ve used erasable pens before that smudged terribly, but not with these. Once the ink is dry, it stays put, and I don’t get any smudges on my hands or paper. What Could Be Better: Eraser Durability: While the eraser works great, I’ve noticed that with heavy use, the eraser wears down a little faster than I’d like. It’s still effective, but you may need to replace it after a while if you erase a lot. Ink Bleed-through on Thicker Paper: On really thick paper or card stock, I’ve noticed a slight bleed-through, but this is typical of gel pens in general. It’s not a huge issue, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re using it on multi-layered or glossy paper. I have only ordered black ink before but like the selection of both colors. Best things are they are erasable (great for crossword puzzles), have refills and wrote smoothly. Highly recommend!
