Its a liquid you spray onto your scalp. Its been a while since I've used it, but I believe you spray on and kind of rub it into your scalp and leave it in your hair.

This is a really great question I am happy to answer for you. You will apply our Nioxin Scalp and Hair Treatment after Shampoo and Conditioning on towel dried hair so it will be damp. I recommend you use 2-3 pumps on your finger tips and massage into your scalp. Allow 1 minute and the apply any styling products or heat elements as you normally would.
